Hi, my laptop has heat problem, i clear all the dust and reapply thermal paste (artic cooling mx-4), the temperature still not much change from last time, normal browsing internet (without back cover open) can reach 88 C, what problem ah? thermal paste apply too many? I just apply a grain size on cpu and gpu. Or is it hardware problem? my laptop is acer 4530, amd turion x2 rm-74, nvidia 9100mg, please give advice and suggestion, thanks

Hi, I want to get advice on choosing casing, is it the more fan the better? Is it necessary?
Case like CM Centurion 6 and CM Elite 372, is it good?
The primary purpose is to make the desktop as cool as possible without liquid cooling.

SFF or HTPC Size Rig Build

Hi, i plan to build a sff or htpc size rig in future, please suggest me recommend build, please help me squeeze the budget as low as possible, thanks

[Purpose]
It will be the only desktop in my house to handle all task that cannot handle by laptop, current highest spec laptop in my house is lenovo g480 with i5 + gt635m

[Software]
Photoshop, video conversion, light online gaming

[Casing]
So far the casing i chosen is Silverstone ML03 and CM elite 120, is there any htpc casing build to stand at vertical position? which means that the rubber stand should build to the narrow side of the casing

[PSU]
is 400w or 500w better? i might fit in gtx670 or similar radeon card in future

[Processor]
i7 3770 (I assume won't replacing it for next 5 years if no failure)

[Mobo]
Support at least one SSD, non overclock, preferable micro-ATX, since its cheaper than mini-ITX, but if there is cheap itx board, then ok

[Graphics Card]
Will not sli or crossfire in the future after consideration about little usage

[Sound Card]
What's the function of sound card?

Cpu temperature

My laptop can get 61 C and 90 C if i am opening the motherboard cover and blow with a 12v case fan when using it, if close the cover it will get even higher but wont reach 100 C, is it ok? if not ok what can i do? what is the common idle and gaming temperature for a laptop?

my laptop has little dust cause i blow it with air compressor every one or two month, if change thermal paste normally the service charge is around how much?

it is acer 4530 with amd turion x2 rm-74 2.2ghz and nvidia 9100mg

hi, anyone know the solution for multiuser on the same rig at the same time? currently i found ncomputing can solve this, but i don't know any limitation or problem when using this. anyone experienced in this thing? i plan to build a rig with 2 proc and quad sli in future, and connect to all monitor and tv in every room

i decide to mount one or two 120mm case fan to cooler master U2 cooler pad, which brand of 120mm fan do u recommend for laptop cooler? currently i found cooler master sickle flow 120mm, which is 19dba sound, any other fan is quieter and better airflow?

the spec i prefer is:
3rd gen i3 or i5
usb 3 supported motherboard
radeon 7850 or 7870, if the card not supported, any suggestion?
