Hi,
A foreign friend of mine can only apply to Streamyx. UniFi is unavailable in his area, and therefore, Maxis, or Astro cannot be subscribed to. Its either Streamyx or P1, etc. Isn't deposit for foreigners RM1000? Is there a way he can avoid that/get that waived? Please let me know the options.
Thanks in advance.

Checked UniFi webpage - says my house is available for UniFi. Then go through registration, only to be informed via SMS that it is not available. This is the SMS quote for quote: "MyUnifi.Net: Hi, we have check Unifi service at ur area currently not available. We will inform u once it is available. TQ." The website tells me that UniFi can be installed, and now the SMS tells me it can't? Can anyone explain what the cause for this is?

I'd like to go to TheHub today to get some more components, but they don't say when its open. If it opens at like 9AM, I'd go there then to avoid traffic Last time I went there in afternoon (surely open), but I want to go as early as possible. I can't seem to find where else to post it (apologies if wrong section), but the people here would know the best IMO. Thanks in advance.

Bitfenix Prodigy

Thinking of building a Bitfenix Prodigy system . The only problem is, I don't want to buy it online, and would like to conveniently buy it in LYP (where I can get the rest of the parts)

Viewnet or The Hub

I thought The Hub = Viewnet, but they have different price lists with huge differences. Eg, Winfast 550Ti on The Hub costs 200rm more than Viewnet. Which store do I have to go to, to meet the Viewnet prices? Cause they have multiple stores. Not sure if this is in right section also

I got recommendation from other forumers to buy from Viewnet (Parts for computer I will build soon). But I notice the CPU says "Price is for bundle purposes only." Any other forumers buy 1 CPU from Viewnet? Or not allowed to?

I was thinking to buy multiple parts from Viewnet (good service?). Easier to buy fan controller at Viewnet, but dunno if they sell. Price list doesn't say- so what shop sell?
Dunno if this is right section also

[WTA] Advice + Is my rig compatible?

I've decided to assemble a desktop myself, and while choosing the parts from the store's catalog, I've had to tweak it a lot to fix incompatibility issues.

What I've chosen is:

-AMD Phenom II X4 955
-AMD Radeon HD 6870 Sapphire
-CoolerMaster Silencio 550
-CoolerMaster GX 750Watt
-Gigabyte 970A-D3
-2x4GB Vengeance Low Corsair
-500HDD Seagate
-Xigmatek HDT (CPU Cooler)

These parts are from:
-http://www.jayacom.com.my/home/hardware/index.php

I originally chose an Asus motherboard and a AMD Phenom II X4955 (But they aren't compatible), and then realized that it only had one case fan connector, while the Silencio 550 has 2 case fans and I don't think they sell fan controllers here. Please let me know if there are any better options from those two stores and if there are any compatibility issues. Budget is around 2600rm.

Thanks in advance
