So I recently bought a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact from directD, AP set. I was so happy and excited with the phone and the cheap price. However two weeks later the screen had serious issues and later accepted practically no touch input at all. I couldnt even unlock the phone to back it up.

I went to claim warranty, and the shop says they will replace the screen if there is not a software issue. However they will use a cheaper non-ori screen and it will no longer be waterproof. On top of that they will not give warranty for water damage. I was so shocked and angry that it would no longer have waterproof capability, for what buy a waterproof phone in the first place??

They took my phone and I dont even know when I will get it back because they have to order the screen. SOOO sad. Is this justified? Should they have given me a new set since the phone is so new? I know its AP but still... The only thing that kept my temper barely controlled was that my amoi was there, dont wanna make a scene...

(WTA) 4k+ Complete PC Build for friend! w/pics?

My friend has recently asked me to help him build a COMPLETE PC set! We are both 2nd year architecture students and he has a budget of about 4K+!
He literally knows completely nothing about computer specs/builds, he basically only knows an i7 is better than an i5 ^^
The computer would be used for:
- medium to heavy gaming E.g. Assassins Creed 4, Dota 2, RPGs, third persons, BUT he dosent play FPS/Sports games/Racing games
- Will be used to render in 3ds max, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.

So, after hours of research I've come up with this complete parts list!

I didn't use an i7 4770K because he would never ever be overclocking nor would he know how to, though I suppose he could ask someone to do it for him..but that would need a new CPU fan.
He has no brand bias and I think he dosent care too much about looks.
Is this a viable build? Please leave suggestions! Reasoning behind suggestions would be nice.

Help! advise on accident please :(

Hi, I got into quite a serious accident like 3 months ago. It was at 5 am driving back from university after doing project work, I was NOT sleepy. On my way home there was only my car and another black car. When approaching a junction, all of a sudden the black car swerve into my lane and I swerved to avoid it. I smashed into a sign post (that tells directions), my car was totaled. As I stumbled out of the car I was robbed of all my belongings. It was all very saddening.

Anyways after my parents payed a runner to settle everything for me(even police saman apparently??), I just got a call today(Sunday) that the sargeant wants me to come back because the want to "take action" against me. They accuse me of reckless driving and I think they want me to pay saman. If not the sergeant says he will bring the case to his boss, and that he is doing me a favor and helping me because Im a student. Im abit worried about this. How much do I expect to pay? Also is this really the procedure?

Any advice or input is welcome

Why is it that the macbook pro has a longer battery life than an asus n56 when they have identical internals?

same as this except also using the gt650 M card instead. lasts around only 5 hours

It doesnt say whether the macbook has optimus switching technology either.
If it is because the macbook pro has a bigger capacity, then can i swap out the battery in the asus n56(most likely cannot) and what is the capacity of both?
