[WTA] Where to buy 43" inch Sony X800D

Hi sifus,

Anyone know where I can find Sony 43" inch X800D.. Been looking around in KL area and can't find it at all.. most of the shops only offer either the 49 inch version or X800E. (Harvey Norman say no carry this version while Sony centre say discontinued)

Looking for this even though is discontinued as it have the best review for PS4 pro and is in my budget also 43" more suitable as well cause I planning to use it as a pc monitor too

Any other 4k tv suggestion would also be appreciated! (Budget = RM 3-4k)

Hi guys! Advice please

Dilemma
I'm not sure whether to go for;

1) Gigabyte Gtx 1070 G1 with a Non-GSync monitor
or

2) AMD with FreeSync monitor (Which AMD that is on par with Nvidia 1070? )

Base on cost alone, AMD surely is the build cause is cheaper but I have doubt on its performance. Will there be a vast or noticeable difference in performance? I personally prefer Nvidia but the AMD build is much cheaper.

Assuming I go with Nvidia with NO GSync monitor, will there be any issues? (Screen tearing? cannot tahan this )

Or should I just invest more $$ in Gsync monitor and go with Nvidia (Hopefully not this option, Gsync monitor so expensive and I already exceed my budget )

On another note, opinions on IPS & TN?

I personally prefer an IPS monitor because I plan to watch movie from my bed (assuming 7-9m afar at a tilted angle). Or does it still look fine? What stopping me from buying it is that it does not do well for gaming purposes (high ms / Low Hz). Saw others post and websites, all say must 144Hz and 1ms for gaming. 4-8ms and lower Hz no good meh?

Note: I cannot afford those high end IPS,low ms and 144Hz so aiming for 24" 1080 monitors

If AMD, thinking about Acer KG240A (1ms/144hz/Freesync but TN) - not sure about angle adjustment though

If Nvidia - ?

My old laptop is running at the following temperature when im playing games. Is it safe for the laptop CPU and GPU to be running on such high temperature(~80 - ~90)?

Scare if anything happen then no more warranty

Any ideas on how to lower the temperature while playing game?

Hi all,

I need some suggestion to build a good desktop from scratch

Preferences:

-Playing games in 1080p with at least 60 fps (Currently only playing dota)

-Minimum i5?

-Dual screens

-Can leave it on for at least a few days

-Not doing any overclock

Would like some suggestions on monitor and speakers as well

As for budget, I'm trying to build a desktop that can last me for a long time hence willing to spend maybe around 3k to 5k (is this enough for a good desktop?)

I need opinion and suggestion whether to go Lancaster University (LU aka Sunway business school) or Victoria University (VU) both program are offered by Sunway University College..

I'm interested in accounting and finance..

Future interested job : auditor or accountant

The pricing won't be a matter as both are almost the same after continuing scholarship

And is there any scholarship out there that you guys can recommend me? My family is kinda having some trouble in financing..

i tried to reinstall ATK package and KB filter but it is still not working..

hi guys, need help with my laptop crashing whenever i play full screen game such as DOTA 2

Asus N56vz-3088
Processor : Intel® Core™ i5- 3210M Processor
Operating System : Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium
Memory : 8GB RAM (2X4GB)
Graphic : NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 650M with 2GB DDR3 VRAM

The system is much higher than the game requirement but is still crashes from the day i bought it

maybe is overheat? cause my laptop get quite hot when playing 3D game.
this is the temperature when normal surfing

when play full screen, intel core temperature goes to around 80-90 Celsius
if is overheat any solution for it? i already bought a cooler but it still blue screen

My laptop failed to even start up..
when i press the power button, only the the light bulb shape light is on.. Then nothing happens
