TMNet Users Forced Into Private IPs (10.x, etc.

If you're wondering what a private IP means: You're f--ked. Experienced the joy of port forwarding? Only now you don't get to play with the router settings. Even if all you do is browse websites, you'll run into problems being on the same IP as other users.

Along with many users from the Streamyx (4MB, 8MB) threads, I just got bumped into the private IP pool and I'm pretty pissed they didn't give any warning or options before pulling the trigger.

Any recourse for those who need an IPv4 address?
Time? (Public IPs but those outside of Johore, Penang and Selangor are out of luck.)
Maxis? (Spotted on the Maxis Fiber thread that their users are put into private IPs by default.)
Unifi? (Next on the chopping board?)

Need Help with a Mid-range i5-3k Build

Looks like my trusty Pentium 4 is on its last legs, no thanks to ATI/Sapphire. It freezes itself silly the moment you take load off the GPU.

Sketched up a quick build and would like some comments on it. Especially with the videocard and compatibilities, since I haven't assembled a PC nor read about the tech in a decade. Would be using this rig primarily for number crunching, Battlefield 1942 and the occasional grindfest MMO.

Budget: 2000 +/- 5%.

RM629 - Intel i5 3550 (w/ stock fan & sink)
RM167 - Kingston HyperX 1600 4x2=8GB
If memory serves me right, Ivy Bridge runs at 1600MHz.
RM335 - WD Black Caviar 1TB
Why are the 'normal' drives on the price lists 20% cheaper? If those are the 'Green' ones, I don't want them.
RM369 - Gigabyte Z77P-D3
ATX sized, not overclocking, no SLI required. Would have to support i7 3xxx as a future upgrade option.
RM0 - Creative Audigy 1 or Realtek Onboard
If the drivers don't give me another round of headaches, I'll just use this or the onboard crab sound.

Was bought to replace the PSU that the X1950 murdered. Is a terrible PSU, by the way. I won't recommend this.

RM__595__ - ??? MSI nvidia 560 GTX ???
Have totally no idea what goes in here. Benchmarks all point towards the 560Ti 448, but that'll cost limbs. Considering an nvidia 560 variant. Although the ATI 6850/6870 beats it in all departments especially price, I'm not too keen on getting an ATI/AMD unless convinced otherwise.

Edit: Attached a rough price/performance table. ATI looks nice, but their drivers scare the daylights out of me.
