As you can see I am an honest person (even though she agreed to charge me less RM5 I still wanted to pay RM40 because I got confused with another trade), and made payment on time. You may think that the excuse that her mom thinks CODs are dangerous is a lame excuse, but as a girl I can tell you its a very plausible excuse as my own parents were initially uptight about me COD-ing with strangers (although they're fine with it now).

Today I sms-ed the number that she provided me, and the person replied that he/she has no idea about it, and I have most probably been conned. I then did some googling and questioning and YEAH indeed I have been conned

Here's the proof that she used some famous E-Boutique's accounts :

She asked us (me and 'bearer of truth') to bank in the money into 2 different online seller's accounts

After Googling, I discover that the FIRST account (which I have banked RM40 into on the 15th Nov) is Clothesbucket's account

UPDATE : GG Collection sent out the item to the scammer but did not keep her details, and for the Clothesbucket case, Ying Jee COD-ed with the scammer and gave the scammer cash to help Ying Jee pay Clothesbucket (on YJ's behalf), then the scammer asked me to bank in to Clothesbucket's bank account so that the scammer can keep the cash.

Both Clothesbucket and GG Collection have settled the issue with me and 'bearer of truth', so they are no longer involved with me and her.

The third victim is black_white who banked in RM20 into GG Collection's account.

Do I have the right to ask for a refund?

I banked in RM32 into a seller's account on the 29th October after the seller said that she will send out the item to me the next day.

However, when the next day comes (30th October), the seller said the top is with her sister, so she has to wait until her sister passes her the top then only will she be able to send it to me.

On the 6th November, she sms-ed me saying that she received the top from her sis and that she will send it the next day (7th November)

Come 11th November, I have still not received the top (via Pos Ekspres). Enquired for the tracking number of the parcel from the seller in her thread.

She provided me with this :

I checked it at the Pos Malaysia website, http://www.pos.com.my/V1/main2.asp?c=/v1/T...pres/first1.asp, and it says Not Existed.

This shouldn't be possible if the seller had sent it out on the 7th, its the 12th now (already almost 1 week), I've sent a lot of parcels using PosEkspres and the longest time it takes for it to appear in the status should be 2 days... Even if there was a delay in the delivery (like the parcel I sent to chongelicia recently, we live in the same state but took 3 days to arrive via posekspres ), the tracking number STILL existed and showed its status and whereabouts.

I then told her this

"Perhaps you can call up the post office and enquire about the status. If they do verify that the parcel tracking number doesn't exist (aka never been sent), then I would like to request for a refund. If I DO of course receive the top ultimately after you've refunded me, I will bank in the money back to you. I definitely will not spoil my reputation as a buyer and seller in LYN just for RM32."

She agreed to the conditions above.

Told the seller about this and she said she would check.

Today, the 12th, she told me that the counter girl at the post office said that they missed out few parcels last Wednesday (5th Nov, but the seller said she sent on the 7th Nov?? I don't really see whats the connection), and that they just sent it out yesterday, all this apparently due to a renovation.

The seller then PM-ed me several more tracking numbers of the parcel which she is waiting for them to arrive to her side, but also showed that it does not exists. She say she is also a victim as the value of the items that she bought is RM200+. She then asked me what to do. Obviously I can't do much because I am not involved in their thread, and I told her this :

"You can ask your seller to refund you, but for my case, it was agreed that you would refund me if there is no proof that the item was sent aka tracking number does not exist "

Seller insists that she already sent the item out (which I would like to believe, I sincerely hope so as I do not want any trouble).

I told her if she disagreed with the suggestion that I gave her that day (to which she agreed!), we should open a thread here to ask for opinions.

Her reply was this

"aiya..but i really dont have time for all that coz its my exam week now..
if u can understand,lets just wait and see whether u'll receive the item or not coz i myself in the same boat as u"

I'm having exams too, my last paper is next week Tuesday (18th Nov), so I do not feel that exams is a good excuse for her to drag this. I feel that its her responsibility as a seller to solve this problem ASAP instead of dragging it, please note that I made payment on the 29th OCTOBER, its already 2 weeks since payment was made.

Right now what I want advice on is this :

Do I have the right to ask for a refund, if the tracking number that the seller provide does not exist? (which can be assumed/interpreted into this situation - the seller did not send out the item at all -, but please note that this is an ASSUMPTION, I would like to believe that she did, as she is a very nice seller so far)

Please advice!!

Needed help for buying a new system

Currently using this system;
Intel p4 2.0ghz
2x 512 kingston ddr400
Nvidia Geforce 6200
Asus P4P800-X

Now, it always lags at most of the time, so I'm planning to upgrade to a new system(just pc, because monitor,mouse etc got already.)
Planning to keep my graphic card if it's possible to use on the new mobo because I don't really play games anymore. Mostly surfing and mostly multitasking.

So, any recommendations? My budget around 2.5k

[Urgent] Dog swallowed some eyeliner pencil

My dog is a terrier crossbreed, he's pretty big, around the size of a cocker spaniel. He sleeps occasionally in the afternoon on my bed with me. (when I take a nap, he does too). Problem is a accidentally left my eyeliner pencil on the bed (was in a rush to college this morning and forgot to stash it away), and I was woken up just now by some biting sound. Woke up and saw Bobby chewing my eyeliner beside me

He swallowed some of the led, around say 1-2cm of it, and spat the wood out.

Question is, how harmful is it? Should I bring him to the vet asap? I'm really really worried

Help can't connect to internet

My friend couldn't connect to internet since yesterday morning. Yesterday, several friends of mine got disconnected in the morning and later we were able to connect back except this friend..I couldn't help him because he was using WAN while we were using DSL. I have no idea of his modem brand but his WAN light was stable(probably similar to dsl light i think) and he still couldn't connect to internet until now. He check everything but still can't connect to pppoe..so I hope there's any solution to fixed this. Thanks in advance
