iPhone 5 shipping estimate drops to 1 week in Asia

Good news for customers, investors, and Apple: iPhone 5 shipping estimates have just dropped to one week in Asia Pacific markets. That's the shortest shipping estimate since the iPhone 5 went on sale back in September.

The shorter shipping time means production of the iPhone 5 is ramping up significantly to meet demand -- something all-important if the company wants to have enough iPhones to sell during the holiday shopping season.

Though at the time of this writing the iPhone 5 was still showing two-week shipping times in other markets, that should change within a matter of hours to reflect the new shipping time.

But... Still no news on Malaysian release...

The Football Federation of Australia (FFA) says preliminary discussions have been held with David Beckham's management about the possibility of the former England midfielder playing in the A-League.

Beckham, 37, is currently contracted to MLS side LA Galaxy.

"He would be another massive signing for the A-League after the arrivals of Alessandro Del Piero and Emile Heskey."

Del Piero, who was capped over 90 times by Italy, signed for Sydney FC in the summer and has scored three goals in five games.

Former Aston Villa striker Heskey joined Newcastle Jets in September and has impressed in his short time in Australia so far, scoring five goals in six games.

Beckham signed a new two-year deal with the club in January, but could be available for loan when the MLS season ends in a fortnight.

Perth Glory chief executive Paul Kelly says the club would be interested in signing Beckham.

"We are always happy to speak to players of the calibre of David Beckham," he said.

"At the end of the day it's the coach, Ian Ferguson who makes these decisions and we have a process that we follow when recruiting players.

"But we would be mad not to seriously consider David Beckham."

On akleh...

18 year old kid... Didn't see my car, he hit the back of my car... He was on a motorbike...

So I stop to help him, his hand bleeding and he say "can u take me to a hospital"

So ok la, closest one is Ampang Puteri... I know private, but I don't care, it's near, nothing else nearer. Glen eagles got la, but private also...

Witnesses also told me he was speeding then hit my car...

Then he told me and my dad "I have some family and personal issues, and my mind was elsewhere"

We said, nevermnd, it's ok, don't worry about it... It's his fault, but we didn't ask him to pay...

While driving i notice his MP3 player is playing... So I suspect he was listening to music while riding his motorbike...

After drop him at hospital, we called his father and mother who are both in the army. They both came down, met them, all ok...

Then the father call my dad and say wana meet, so we gave the house address...

The father say he can't afford to pay for private hospital, ask to pay Rm1,000... My dad was like :|

I told my dad it's ok, let's pay something because we put him there.... And we were both leaving country the next day, so ok, my dad gave rm500, he said rm1000 is too much, we don't even know the extent of the injury, kenot simply give rm1k if its just a scratch in his arm....

Then the father say his son didn't say that he has family issues and personal issues... This one really pissed me off! If you got issues with your family, talk to someone about it la! You say that the reason you were distracted, but when we tell your father, you lie and say you didn't say that. On top of that we are paying part of the hospital fees.

Ungrateful SOB.... Accident was your fault, we help to pay some, the least you could do is admit that it was your fault... The father keep trying to blame us and want us to pay more... Witnesses also say he was speeding...

Really made me so angry... Got people lie like that.... I could have easily let him lie on the side of the road, but no, I even told my dad to help pay for part of the hosp bill summore...
