[WTA] ROM + Luncheon venue

Looking for a venue in Klang valley to host a Garden style wedding event (ROM + luncheon) for around 130-150 pax. Anyone has any recommendation? Preferably some place with an outdoor space for ROM and an indoor seating area for luncheon (am currently exploring to go buffet style). Trying to keep cost low at approx rm150-170 per pax.

All recommendations is appreciated.

USJ 2 vs USJ 3D

Hi sifus, currently looking at this 2 house one in USJ 2 - 22x75 slightly older, need to have some minor reno but in terms of accessibility, i feel it is better than USJ 3d. Don't remember seeing any guards for this area as well.

Another in USJ 3d - 20x70 move in condition, just need some slight touch up (i.e painting etc) but only cons is that i feel it is too near to highway, with the noise and polution and feels isolated. also heard that there are high tension cables nearby (i made rounds near the area but couldn't spot any)

Wonder how long it will take to reach say around Pusat Bandar Damansara area/ KL Sogo area from both locations in the morning (8-9am)?

Anyone staying or used to stay in USJ could give me some suggestion/advice?

Getting sponsor to do professional paper

Hi guys, was wondering if it is a good idea to take sponsorship from the company to pursue my professional paper (e.g CPA or ACCA) and bonded by the company for 4 years. I am only required to pay back what they paid to me if I decide to leave the company. This sound pretty good to me and got me thinking why some people choose not to take up the sponsorship.

I also heard some said that this would also affect my increment and promotions in the future. Just wanted to clarify how true is this for the case for Big 4 or other mid tier accounting firm.

Any comments?

Hi all sifus, looking for a sub-rm200 graphic card (currently still using integrated graphic). I'm not a gamer and mostly needed it for the hdmi output and occasional NBA 2k14 game. Am currently looking at GT630. any better or cheaper alternatives?

Hey guys, I searched the Samsung site looking for nearby service centre but couldn't find the one i used to go along federal highway in the site.

Is the service centre still there or has it moved?

What to do with my mini DV tapes?

Hi forumers,

I have these mini dv tapes from last time and unfortunately Sony doesn't provide windows 7 drivers for my old handycam (dcr-hc21e).

I remember being able to stream my videos over to the computer using usb cable looooong time ago but unfortunately my computer could not detect my handycam now. There is also a i.Link port which would require a firewire port in my comp but i would prefer to avoid using that method.

So I was wondering if any of you out there have a better solutions or are there any shops which offer services to help me convert/copy them into a digital copy or dvd.

Too much credit expiring every 3 months! [SOLVED]

Hi My dad has a digi prepaid that has accumulated rm500 credit in it, and it is expiring every 3 months and He will have to reload again. I am not very familiar with digi and would like to know Any way I can extend the validity period or I am able to change to postpaid without losing these credit.

bought a 2nd hand phone, without receipt and no proof of purchase. is it still possible to claim warranty from sme?

warranty is registered btw.
