Warranty Claim Issue. Being cheated.

I not sure this is the correct thread to post.
This what I wanted to share and have some opinion.

Item claim for warranty: CORSAIR TWIN2X1024-5400C4

Date of transaction: 28th April 2009

Details of the complaint :
This is the story. I've sent my RAM to the dealer. Then dealer sent the RAM to the distributor. Distributor deals with CORSAIR.
Distributor claimed the RAM which the model is now CORSAIR TWIN2x2048-6400C4. Then sent back to the dealer. So I can collect from dealer.
BUT Dealer said the model is CORSAIR TWIN2X1024-5400C4 and you can collect it. Aren't I'm suppose to receive the 2048RAM instead?

If the dealer always cheat the customer for warranty claim without us knowing, they would have earn a lot.
I need to know what are the ways to claim and/or sue the dealer for this issue.
Is that possible?

I'm not listing the dealer's name/company name because I don't want to destroy their reputation before I got the full information.
This is what my info so far.
Called to the distributor and they said the model is CORSAIR TWIN2x2048-6400C4 because CORSAIR no longer manufacture the old ones.
