Soft Structured Baby carrier - is it necessary?

Hi experience parents,

What do you guys think about getting a soft structure baby carrier for a four months old baby? To bring the baby for walks in the park, clinic visits, travelling...

Would a stroller be good enough?
Will the carrier end up as a white elephant in the storeroom?
How long did you use your carrier?

Baby Expo (TCE & Today's )

Hi, first time parents here. Currently we are in the midst of preparing a to-buy-list to welcome the arrival of our baby early next year.

We would like to seek for your opinions and feedback.
- Will we get better bang for the buck if we purchase online (e.g. Lazada, Shopee etc) or during expo (e.g. TCE baby expo, Today's baby expo)?
- Or certain items best purchased during expo/online?
- What are the items worth purchasing during expo?
(some forumer was saying legging for mom?)

Recommended gynae in PJ/Subang

Hi,

My husband and I are planning to have a baby. We’re looking for a gynaecologist/obstetrician to do a pre-pregnancy checkup, get advice about exercise, eating, lifestyle and folic acid supplement.

I understand that being comfortable with the gynae is important throughout the pregnancy phase (we like to plan way ahead ). We like to stay with the same gynae and hopefully (fingers cross) once pregnant, stay with gynae till the birth of our baby.

I know that this topic has been discussed before, but many reviews made available are quite dated (~ up to 2013).
Any sharing of experiences with your gynae or comments/feedbacks/recommendations of gynae around PJ/Subang area is appreciated.

I’ve been doing some homework googling and looking for info online, info that I’ve manage to gather so far

Dr Delaila (SJMC) – highly recommended but retired.
Dr Noor Aini Kassim Ali (SJMC) – recommended, Saturday reserved for pregnant lady

Dr Siti Zaliha Zainal (SJMC) – highly recommended but has stopped delivering babies
