Every now and then I see postage to east msia need pay extra. For all these while I didn't care but now I think if I'm sabahan or sarawakian I sure butthurt.

I think should spread the delivery fee out so east and west Malaysia pay same postage fee. Eg . like peninsular postage pay a bit more to subsidize postage to east msia.So it would be fair

Either this or just give them an international port.

Didn't check when buy... When I reach home only realised it doesn't have hdmi. Only vga and DVI.

It's the dumbest thing I've done in a while.

How bad are vga compare to hdmi? And what are my choices now? Is there somewhere I can sell this off?

Slow gps start up

My phone is Lenovo P2

The GPS seems to be slow to start up.

Everytime I turn on the GPS, then Waze, the Waze is able to detect my location but I can't use first person view navigation because " Waze is connecting to gps" or " no gps, showing approximate location"

Sometimes the connection is fast, like 10 sec, but more often than not it takes 5-10 min to connect.

I updated the latest firmware.

The diagnosis says that I need to connect to 4 satellite for high precision gps which I wasn't yet connected. The moment Lenovo diagnosis shows that I am connected to >4 satellite my Waze resumes normal.

Is this a software or hardware prob and if I take my phone to the repair shp can they fix it?

Sharing my odd clubbing experience

It's Friday night and I usually would be clubbing but as u know covid 19 is not over yet and I have not club in 6 months..

So I was thinking of sharing my experience here since I got nth to do

1) the bouncer once refused me to re-enter

I was clubbing in UK and it was 3am plus, went out for a ciggy break and the bouncer said club is closing soon but others he let them enter. I suspect he is racist but I obeyed anyway. ( He is fucking big )

2) photographer cut my face out on their FB page

I celebrate friends birthday in a club and the photographer took a picture since we open table. Later I check on FB my fucking face was not in the photo because the photographer only publish photo where I am not in it / photo where I am at the edge and my face is not shown

3) my colleague went and ask random stranger for ons

It happened after bonus out celebration. After club close she still haven't got a guy. And she was really really drunk. She just went on the streets asking random guys for ONS ( nikka included). I wanted to volunteer but in the end I stick to the 'do not eat where you shit' rule.

In the end her friends stopped her from doing that and they fetch her to spend the night in one of our colleague home.

4) I asked a drunk Malay guy if his religion allow him to drink

He answered what happens in UK stays in UK
Btw he can't drink anyway, down a bit then throw up.

5) there was a nerdy looking guy keep following my female friend

Serious, in clubs there are lots of weirdos. There was this guy who look nerdy and creep came and stand beside my female friend and follow her everywhere without saying a word. But he stop following after we left the club.

6) someone tried to cock block me

There was a guy who tried to chat up a girl I was trying to chat up.

7) girl gave me FB but didn't accept my friend request

She was Vietnamese because her name is tran. I asked her to add me. She said nvm... U add me, then I add her and she never accept.

8) I invited a Singaporean girl to Mayfair ( very high end London club), and she said she's not going at last min

I fucking paid for her ticket....fucking sinkies..

Why are PHP and javaScript bad languages?

Ive seen countless of experienced and senior developers writing articles or on quora saying that javascript and php are 'badly designed languages' and it would 'promote bad habbit' among newbies.

I never understood what they say so. They seem to be frustrated that these 'bad language' become popular and now they are forced to work with it because of its popularity.

They seem to be annoyed by the fact that newbies can write code and it works anyway. I never understood why is this bad. Are programming supposed to be a field with super high bars?

I have seen some spectacular claim from node js is cancer to functional programming is for start up hipsters. But they never explain why.

One of the reasons i understand is they believe weakly typed language is bad because it will be slower due to need to be interpreted.

But i never understood what they mean by "promote bad habbit" and why are they 'badly designed'

Anyone who also hold this view care to explain?

I read something about these two and they both claim to help with sinus problem.

Also come to my attention is air dehumidifier, which is the opposite of air humidifier, also claims to help with sinus problem. I saw a pamplet from hospital today claiming that dehumidifier can help starve dust mites and help with sinus problem.

So which should I buy?

Just saw 4th of July celebration on TV . I mean I like to dance to loud music too but only to a very limited spectrum of good music.

They seem to enjoy any music that has a bass.

Malaysian mostly don't seem to share this enthusiasm.

Niama I keep dying. My reflexes really not fast enough to dodge stuff...but I see YouTube got all the no damage run they dodge everything like neo Anderson dodge bullet in matrix...

Btw I know why ppl like to use zero already... He has more menuverability than X. Useful to dodge. I usually try to destroy enemy before they come close so I use X more.
