I know cina funerals all like to show deceased's face but ayam as cina don't agree with this.

What about malay/india funerals? Didn't attend one before so ayam tatau.

I prefer my body straight go BBQ after dead instead of being displayed in a coffin.

Don't want so many process to move body around after post mortem.

Calon Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) bagi Parlimen Pagoh, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin meminta agar Suruhanjaya Pilihan Raya (SPR) menggunakan nama seperti yang ditulis dalam borang pencalonan.

Permintaan itu dibuat selepas semakan dibuat di laman web SPR mendapati nama sebenarnya seperti dalam kad pengenalan 'Mahiaddin Bin Md Yassin' dipilih untuk dicetak pada kertas undi dan bukannya sebagai Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

"Nama yang saya minta dalam borang percalonan adalah Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, itulah nama yang saya gunakan sejak dahulu lagi. Jadi saya hairan bagaimana dalam laman web SPR mengemukakan nama Mahiaddin bin Md Yassin.

"Saya telah minta agar ia diperbetulkan atau saya akan buat bantahan rasmi. Kerana kalau tidak nanti ada pihak yang keliru," katanya selepas mengadakan sesi ramah mesra di Bukit Gambir, Tangkak di sini hari ini.

Menurut Muhyiddin jika SPR tidak membuat pembetulan ia akan menyebabkan nama 'Mahiaddin' dicetak pada kertas undi.

Nama 'Mahiaddin' terpapar sebagai calon bagi kerusi Parlimen Pagoh dan DUN Gambir yang mana Muhyiddin bertanding.

Kerusi Parlimen Pagoh menyaksikan persaingan tiga penjuru antara Muhyiddin, Ismail Mohamed (BN) dan Ahmad Nawfal Mohamed (Pas).

Di DUN Gambir, Muhyiddin and Ketua Majlis Syura Pas Datuk Dr Mahfodz Mohamed akan mencabar menyandang Datuk M. Asojan.

MCA Youth chief lodges police report over threats of sexual assault to her and her daughter

PETALING JAYA: MCA Youth chief Nicole Wong Siaw Ting has lodged a police report after receiving threats of sexual assaults on her and her daughter from an individual.

Her personal information was also misused, believed by the same person, in various malicious content on social media.

The 40-year-old mother of three said the harassment started in February this year.

"My photos and personal details were used to create fake profiles on Facebook, one of them posted daily since March 11 claiming that I was selling drugs. It used my pictures and even tagged my real profile.

"On March 22, it claimed that I was selling N95 face mask at RM1 each that can be purchased from Wisma MCA and published my mobile phone number.

"I received many calls and messages asking me if it was true," she said.

Then on April 19, Wong said the fake profile had its name changed to one "Boon Keong Teoh" and subsequently made two posts claiming she was giving out N95 masks and rice.

"This puzzled me because I had been getting abusive WhatsApp messages and lewd content from one 'Teoh Boon Keong' since February.

"The sender kept threatening that he would send someone to rape, attack and kill me in the messages," she said, adding that she was initially not intimidated by the individual.

However, Wong said she did not expect the harassment to escalate over time that she continued receiving lewd photos and threats.

Last Friday (April 17) and Monday (April 20), Wong said she received another round of messages from the same individual, threatening to rape her and her young daughter.

Hopeful of a thorough investigation, Wong said she has provided all relevant information and evidence to the police and the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission after lodging a report at the Petaling Jaya district police headquarters on Tuesday (April 21).

The Eternals Will Be the First MCU Movie to Feature Same-Sex Kiss

As the saying goes, one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind. There are/have been plenty of romantic pairings in the MCU (Tony and Pepper, Natasha and Bruce, Wanda and Vision, etc) but all of them have been heterosexual.

Now, Marvel Studios will be taking a huge step forward by not only including a same-sex couple but also by featuring a same-sex kiss in their upcoming film The Eternals.

In an interview with NewNowNext, Haaz Sleiman, who’s a supporting cast member on The Eternals discussed his character’s relationship with the superhero Phastos (Brian Tyree Henry).

"I’m married to the gay superhero Phastos, played by Atlanta’s Brian Tyree Henry, and we represent a gay family and have a child. It’s a beautiful, very moving kiss. Everyone cried on set. For me, it’s very important to show how loving and beautiful a queer family can be. Brian Tyree Henry is such a tremendous actor and brought so much beauty into this part, and at one point I saw a child in his eyes, and I think it’s important for the world to be reminded that we in the queer community were all children at one point. We forget that because we’re always depicted as sexual or rebellious; we forget to connect on that human part."

Now, I’m pretty sure some people in the comment section will say something along the lines of “Urgh! Just make good movies instead of SJW nonsense.” Here’s the thing.

Including an LGBT character in the film (or centring it around women and people of colour) will not automatically make it good. This could very well be a horrendous movie.

But diversity and representation itself is never a bad thing. Some of my favourite superheroes are white, heterosexual males — I love Batman, Iron Man, Wolverine, etc — but I also want to see people of all walks of life,

people of different creed, colour and sexuality.

Having said that, there’s a very real possibility that The Eternals could be banned in Malaysia given that our government does not allow the portrayal of LGBT characters on screen

(unless said character is a dipsh*t who “repents” or dies by the end of the film). Even if it isn’t banned, expect heavy censorship.

Which of course, sucks as censorship is a form of oppression.

Program Subsidi Petrol Microsite Found Disclosing Recipient’s Bank Account Details

The Petrol Subsidy Programme microsite was launched on the 15th of October by the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry to help recipients of the recently announced subsidy programme to check on their eligibility status online.

It is estimated that close to 2.9 million recipients of the Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) aid will be eligible for the PSP aid, as long as they have a vehicle registered under their name. The bulk of the data for the online check is based on the information provided during the application for the BSH scheme, as highlighted by the honorable Minister, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail during the launch.

While the site works as intended, we can exclusively reveal that the site is also revealing private banking details of the eligible recipients. Keying in an eligible person’s MyKAD number will bring up the usual details, inclusive of the Bank Name which was registered during the BSH application as well as the eligibility amount. Similar to the BSH eligibity check, only the last four digits of the account number is displayed.

However, this is where the similarities end. While the results on the Bantuan Sara Hidup site are masked on the backend before being sent to the browser, the bank account number on the Program Subsidi Petrol site are sent to the browser, and is simply masked with XXXX on the form. A quick check on the source code will reveal the complete bank account number.

We have tested out the resulting account number and can confirm that the account number that is displayed did indeed belong to the actual owner of the MyKAD number that we used for this example.

We went on and tested at least 5 more random MyKad numbers and can confirm that we were able to obtain the full account numbers of the eligible recipients in the same way as outlined above.

Local bank accounts being abused by scammers for malicious purposes have been on the rise in recent years – with the Commercial Crimes Department of the Royal Malaysian Police launching a dedicated site for members of the public to check whether accounts they are transferring or receiving money from have been flagged as mule accounts.

We reached out to KPDNHEP via email late yesterday evening to highlight this issue but have yet to receive any response. At time of writing, the full account numbers are still being disclosed via the source code of the site.

Administrators of ‘SG Nasi Lemak’ Telegram group to be charged with distributing obscene materials

SINGAPORE — Four men who are suspected to be involved in distributing obscene materials and promoting vice activities through a Telegram chat group named “SG Nasi Lemak” will be charged in court on Tuesday (Oct 15).

The police said in a statement that they have arrested the men, aged between 17 and 37, after several reports were made against the chat group.

The suspects were identified following investigations by officers from the Ang Mo Kio Police Division, who then arrested them at “various locations islandwide” on Oct 14.

Two men, aged 26 and 37, are said to be the administrators behind the chat group, while a 17-year-old and a 19-year-old are alleged to be the distributors of the obscene photos and films.

More than 10 electronic devices, including a central processing unit, a laptop, a hard-disk and several mobile phones, were seized as case exhibits.

If convicted, the four men could be jailed for up to three months, or fined, or both.

Recently, several women have reported finding their photos published on the “SG Nasi Lemak” Telegram group.

The chat group, which is no longer accessible, is said to have had tens of thousands of members, some of whom shared obscene photos and videos of women.

The police advised members of the public to stop soliciting on any lewd website or joining such online platforms and illicit chat groups.

“The police take a serious view of anyone involved in criminal activities and will continue to take tough enforcement actions against those breaking the law,” they said.
