What the usual Perodua & Proton release cycle?

I am looking for cars to buy and currently considering Viva or Myvi,
But then I heard there are suppose to be new models from Perodua and Proton later this year,
I think I better wait for those first considering both of them rumors to be a compact car,

So what can we expect for the usual cycle months from both of these manufacturers to announce the two models?
Or they just release it randomly, not at a fixed time each year?

Area to live nearby Hospital Kuala Lumpur

So right now I'm looking for a room nearby Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL),
But I'm not very familiar with the area ,
All that I know the nearby area is Setapak

Is there any other area that is also nearby and have public transport that I can use to commute daily?
Or is there any other suggestions on where to live?
If I know the exact area to look for it will help me in my search for a room in mudah,
Maybe somewhere in May I will move but knowing now will help me to look a bit

I was thinking of going there by public transport,
But I don't know which way to go and get off at what station

Hope experienced member can share they travel experience with me,
It can be any type of public transport
And how much time you think it take to travel there

Living in a dorm so cannot have other cooking utensils except rice cooker and refrigerator,

Some of my friend say they have make mee-hoon and fried rice out of the rice cooker,

Just wondering if there are any dishes that can be made using the rice cooker
