Window Vista WINDOW EXPLORER HAS STOPPED WORKING

daigor daigor sekalian, everytime i open "My Computer", a "window explorer" window will pop up and just hang der, den i hav to use task manager to stop it and it will display "window explorer has stopped working". Happnes EVERYTIME i open "My Computer", "Control Panel", ordinary folders, etc etc.

I cant even download files from de net becoz it says i dont hav administrator power to save things on desktop, even tho i m logged in as admin. Any kind souls plz help.

PS: i can open google chrome
