Update: Recommendation for PSU

Hi all, I've been following the threads here for quite some time and after 6 years of being a laptop user, i've finally decided to revert back to building a PC from scratch for myself.

I've been doing quite a bit of reading especially on parts, reviews and technical specifications and all, and the following is what I have chosen for now:

Intel E8400 3.0Ghz
Western Digital WD6400AAKS 640gb (bought)
Samsung 2232GW 22'' LCD
Cooler Master 690 Casing
Windows Vista Home Premium

I require recommendations and suggestions from you good people for the mobo, RAM and PSU, since for mobo and RAM there are so many choices to make it can get pretty confusing, and I'm unsure on the actual power I'd need to power up my rig properly.

So far this is what I have planned for myself:

1) Strictly NOT an overclocker
2) Normal gamer
3) 4gb of RAM (gaming RAM or not, it is fine).
4) What I'm looking for is a good functionality / suitability between the parts, especially the mobo which I think is rather important, but I'm not sure which one would work best with the above mentioned parts (and the fact that I dont overclock, lots of things to consider..).

Budget for the mobo, PSU and RAM is around RM1000, if less it'll be good, if need to top up a little more for good parts I can comply as well.

Will be needing help now on the graphics card as well, since most of you around have more exposure on the scene ;D

Let me know if I left out anything important (i might have! ). You may or may not include brand names, I'm totally fine with that
Keyboard and mouse I can prolly source on my own, but the key components I'd require your help on this. Am open to recommendations, suggestions and any form of feedback as well.

Phew sorry for being so lengthy here. Thanks so much and cheers all!

Caring for your newly re-painted car

Hi all, I've just had my car repainted, got it back last week. Paint's all glossy and smooth right now

Would like to ask you fellas how you'd maintain it to keep the paint just as good. Doubt I'll send it to the (cheaper) car washes now, cant risk getting any scratches from their wash cloths

Previously I was using Polyglaze Wash and Wax. Should I switch to a pure Wash only or is my current wash and wax suitable?

On another note, I'd like to clarify something: What's the difference between polishing and waxing the car? Or are they both referring to the same thing?
If one were to polish / wax a car, what's the recommended time in between each polish / wax? (of course regular washes are a must too).

Thanks so much and hope you can help clarify the details. Cheers!
