Star Trek Model

Hi all

Since late 90s I have a fascination for Star Trek ships, at the time it was hard to find any decent models locally and the model kits requires a lot of work to build, not to mention expensive for a high school kid

I took noticed of the Diamond Select release and later Eaglemoss' quite late; by then it was already discontinued (for former) and those few local who once brought in already given up (for Eaglemoss)

It took me a LOT of trouble trying to get them through friend's friend from overseas, and frankly not everyone is willing to help, particularly the bigger ones

I have a small number of ship collected over the past year, now around 20;

Eaglemoss' models are like a gamble for me, its not cheap in particular and many are not really well made (particularly the wings or nacelles almost always midaligned)

Anybody here having the same interest?

Would you mind sharing your source of collection?

Cause I'd like to know how to get some without having to trouble people who isnt into the item and are not really in the convenient to travel frequently

Though I'm no hardcore collector there's still some ships I wanted to get

No Tracking Parcel from Japan

Hi All, I'm from penang

Recently right after MCO happened I asked my colleague to help purchase a star trek ship model (total within RM150) from ebay, the seller is in Japan; the order was made and paid for through paypal on 30 March and item shipped on 2 Apr.

However due to unable to track because of economy shipping, I'm unable to find out what happened to the package up until now; though I'm lucky the seller refunded on past Tuesday. I actually bought from same seller once and was given tracking at that time but not this round

I know its a mistake to not request for tracked shipment and to order during MCO... the item went on sale and I wanted it for a long time

I still wish to find out if the package will ever be delivered... POS stated will suspend international delivery but that's for going out and not coming in right?

With POS all but suspending all inquiry services (I tried calling the 1300 from still able to connect but not getting answered till they straight cut off); only managed to get in touch with my main local POSLAJU office once and since no tracking they wont do anything while head office is straight no answer

Anybody have an idea should I continue to wait? Will the item somehow arrived at all?

I'm also considering to buy another elsewhere, the model is too rare and running out fast; this pandemic just happen at too bad a timing

Upgrade Advice Needed

Thank you everyone for making the stop to take a look and advice

My PC's almost 5 years old, was put together back in early 2011; also about time to upgrade so she'll meet new games (fallout, mass effect, doom etc) for the next 5+ years

My current specs are:

Motherboard : Asus P8Z77-M
Processor : i5 3470 3.2Ghz
Memory : 4G RAM
GPU : Nvidia GT630
PSU : Cooler Master EX2 525

See attached image for quick look of my comp's "innards"

I'm thinking of upgrading to GTX970, is my current motherboard able to support this card?

My alternative is MSI's Gaming 970; if current board can support I will delay this upgrade

Further I'm thinking of upgrading RAM to 8G (a must), originally wanted to add another 8G to make it 12G in total straight

PSU I'm looking at Pantec Ion2 700W, does it live up to spec? I know my current EX2 525 can only achieve 425w or 450w, not even close to 500w

Processor I hope to leave it for now, which I believe can still hold out

Casing I have my eye on a Fractal Design case at RM160, big unlike my current medium tower, but this one is optional for now...

Currently my calculation is around RM2500 (970 motherboard, 4G extra RAM, Ion2 PSU, GTX960) or better at 2800+ (970 motherboard, 8G extra RAM, Ion2 PSU, GTX970)

I honestly hope i dont need to upgrade board, but GPU, PSU and RAM is definitely a go

I welcome any straight forward advice and thoughts

Good day fellas

Anybody knows where to find World of Warcraft Frostmourne with blue light base (attached pic)

Though its been a while ago, was hoping somewhere in the country still selling, I am from Penang by the way

Really appreciate for the advise
