Can't boot to Windows....

Hi, hope someone can help solve my problem as I've run out of ideas.

My computer can't boot into Windows. All it does is during the POST screen, it will hang at the "Detecting IDE drives" part....sometimes for a very long time and requires a restart, sometimes it successfully detected my HDDs (an old Seagate 20GB IDE HDD and a WD 250GB SATA 2 HDD) but then after it is supposed to arrive at the "choose OS screen"...... (I have dual OS installed on my comp, XP on ST and Vista on WD) there's nothing on display and the HDD activity LED just lights up without blinking.....

So, what seems to be the problem? Can anyone help?

Problem with a my upgraded PC

I just brought a new MB, Processor, RAM and PSU to replace my older components. So, after I completed the assembly of my PC, I turned on my PC but it just stopped at the 'Press Del To Enter Setup' screen. When I pressed the Delete button, only a beep sounded. Consecutive presses of the button results in the same thing. There's display but my DVD drive's tray also can't open. I didn't touched or formatted the hard drive which still contains my previous system's data. What should I do? Some help needed please..... Thanks...
