getting NAT 3 even after port forwarding

Okay, i have been doing extensive reading about port forwarding and static ip adresses. I have basically set a static ip for my ps3, and reserved that static ip on my router and opening several ports to it. All the ports i opened were the playstation network ones- 80,443,5223,3478,3479,3658.

According to what i read online, by doing this, i should get NAT type 2, but i still get NAT type 3. Can anybody give me some advice?

PSN credit card question

I just recently got my credit card, and i wanna ask if our local credit cards can be registered on PSN even though our country is technically something other than Malaysia. I know it's possible since i heard of people doing it before, but after i entered my credit card number, it says that my credit card information is invalid.

[addedon]July 20, 2007, 10:38 pm[/addedon]hey bump. i need some answers here. you mean to tell me nobody has their credit card registered?

Will the Xbox 360 update brick modded consoles?

Before posting further, i would just like to state that this thread is by no means a way of promoting any questionable acts in terms of legality. The term 'modded' is very generic and vague. And according to other sites, there are many reasons to mod your console without any piracy implications. Anyway, you all can interpret it any way you want.

So now my question is, will modded Xbox 360s get bricked if i patch it with the latest update? I want to play Doom 3 on my 360 and as we all know, that game is a port and requires an update. Due to the nature of my Xbox 360, i am not using XBOX LIVE, so i will have to burn the update on a dvd and then install it.

And i know that some time back there was word that modded 360's were getting bricked, but how about now? Has anybody tried it?
