Access point router and Internet connection

Im staying in hostel in a university ao I set up an access point with a router using ethernet cables to connect it from the ethernet jack.

However since I encountered a lot of problems I kept on resetting it. Now im at a point where browsing webpages with my phone works fine, but on my laptop only steam and steam games work (low ping too yay). I cant access any webpages on my laptop but works fine on my phone.
Any solutions?

I'm at MMU and in their hostel they have an ethernet jack on the wall, so after countless tries and configuration I managed to set up my router as an access point
so I can use the internet wirelessly and share with my mates.
However in the process I lost the access to the router as I need to set up a password, the default to login into the router is 192.168.1.1 but it just won't load.
I tried typing ipconfig cmd but it didn't gave me any useful information as it is blank on the default gateway.
Any help is appreciated!

Laptop battery [Shuts down around 25%]

My laptop auto shut down (Can't say shut down, as in sudden power outage) without warning.
I'm positive that my battery had around 20% left available.
Happened a few times, I reformatted my laptop recently and this problem started to occur.

I was told by google to do a battery calibration, but I went into BIOS and there wasn't an option.
My laptop is ASUS N56VZ-S3088V, 1 year and a few months old
Can I do anything about it? Or just keep charging at all times
