Item(s) conditions: 9/10. Been inside my case and used for gaming since launch, undervolted to run cooler since start (1898mhz at ~72 degrees). No dust inside the heatsinks or on the fans. Works perfectly.

Was using a asrock Z77 extreme 4 for about a year and a half now it's fried. Looking for a new one, doesn't need to be z77 since I don't think I'll be over clocking this time. Around or below the price of a extreme 4 Are motherboards this old still even sold? I'm thinking of trying Asus this time.

I5-3570k, (was 4.6ghz )
Sapphire HD7870,
2x4gb gskill ram

Asus K46CB RAM swap possible?

I'm interested in purchasing a asus K46CB. Compared to the A series it has a better gpu but the K only comes with 2gb of ram, which is pretty much useless IMO these days. Does anybody know how easy it is to swap out the ram or add a 2nd channel into it? I hope it isn't soldered on the motherboard at least. And also how bout the hard drive? I might wanna throw in a SSD.

Edit: I just saw the lenovo y400, only slightly above budget but i7 + gt750m and 4gb ram, though no OS. Not quite sure what to go for. Opinions?

CPU Coolers

Yes I know the recommended CM Hyper 212 for budget, and the Noctua coolers for a higher price. But I feel they just don't look good in my case I was wondering if there are any coolers that look really good and cools the cpu pretty well too. I've seen some like the be quiet! dark rock but I don't think they sell outside of Europe. And I'm not willing to spend too much on water cooling either

I know Ivy is the newest and I heard the speeds are more or less the same. But if you sifus can tell me the actual real life performance difference that would be great I'm wondering if i can save a bit of money by going with the 2500k instead. What about the power consumption or the heat build up for the two?

[WTA] Casing for budget gaming rig

Hi guys I'm looking for a relatively low priced case for my rig. I'll start of with my specs I'll most probably be running.

i5 3570k
Asus P8Z77-V LX
Sapphire HD6870
1TB WD Blue HDD
2x 4GB Kingston Hyper-x DDR3
Corsair GS 600W PSU

Will be using for gaming and photo editting. I will definitely be over-clocking this quite some bit but not very high so cooling, air-flow is a must. Good looks is a bonus but not important.

I'm looking no higher for rm300. The most suitable candidate I have is the coolermaster USP 100 for about rm160. Only issue I have is the looks that I don't quite fancy but I can live with. I also checked out the NZXT H2, I love cases with this kind of simple design and best part is it's silent. However I haven't seen it for sale in Malaysia at all and no idea where to get or look for price. Closet is Coolermaster silencio 550, online usd price is same with h2 but I see people selling for around rm250. I am just worried with the silencio's cooling performance which i heard isn't very good. I'm also open to other suggestions like maybe antech three hundred two or anything cheaper. Remember cheaper the better as long as it serves my purpose because I'm already a tiny bit over my budget as it is

btw would it be wise to go for the Kingston Hyper-X? For 2x 4gb it is rm40 more than running standard x2 4GB kingston RAM, is it worth it?
