buying new phone for mom

i know i cha siew son, planning to buy mom a new phone due to old phone start to create problem, but i lazy to layan do transfer old phone data to new phone for her. Anyone knows any seller do this service for elder people? chop hand also have to pay for her lo.

why i lazy? coz nowadays better phone doesn't come with memory card slot anymore. the past i normally backup to sd card to transfer. no hassle. now need cloud and stuffs which old uncle don't have.

please have mercy help this cha siew son. TQ

Dear All,

few days back uncle receive 1 beef jerky from traffic police to my company. say i speeding above speed limit.

i recalled back September i saw 1 traffic police camping below a bridge from a far and manage to lower my driving speed from 90km/h ++ to below 80km/h. uncle thought i would be safe from speed limit. When i receive it beef jerky, it says uncle speeding @ 77km/h, speed limit is 60km/h. knncnlb straight road drive @ 60km/h? u think limpeh no need to work? drive slow slow pass time? need to meet customer need to do goods delivery... uncle really feel very unfair, after few days that feeling still can't get away.

my boss tasked me to find out whether is his won bid car plate number (which was bought before the announcement) can be use for his new coming EV car? walauwei... on top of my job have to do research for his EV. really KNN la.

any /K can enlighten me on this, so i can move on to my job instead of reading and research on written articles.

so my superior asked me about our boss these few days reply slow or not answering to her. boss is it like got some matters. then i told her that he will be fine to handle it himself... after that she text me "i asked you a question, not asking for your opinion" on the spot i "..." after that i didn't reply anything.

sorry that i low level kuli can't understand actually want upper manizer wants. done rant.

‘Exposés’ of those who sit out boycott violate

PETALING JAYA: Publishing social media posts to shame those who do not participate in boycotting brands purportedly linked to Israel is a violation of privacy laws, lawyers say after the circulation of pictures showing fast food chains like McDonald’s and KFC bustling with customers during Aidilfitri.

Netizens had labelled customers at these outlets as “dogs”, but lawyer Bastian Pius Vendargon said such social media posts infringe on privacy laws.

He also said that those affected may pursue civil action since it is a “recognised right” in Malaysia.

Those who were exposed in these posts may also file a defamation suit against the authors, he said.

“If the post suggests that the people in the picture or video have engaged in odious behaviour or something that tarnishes their reputation in the eyes of the general public, then it could constitute defamation.”

He also said these posts may have violated the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (Act 588), giving the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) the right to initiate criminal proceedings.

“If these kinds of posts can incite violence or a breach of peace, then it falls within Act 588. That is an abuse of the media,” he said.

Section 233 of Act 588, for instance, criminalises online content that is “obscene, indecent, false, menacing or offensive in character with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass another person”.

“In Kuantan, there has already been physical violence or the threat of physical violence. That has gone way beyond the bounds of propriety,” Vendargon added.

In Kuantan, Pahang, a man recently claimed that a group of men had insulted him when he went to a McDonald’s outlet with his family, with one of the men allegedly threatening to hit him with a helmet.

Five people have been arrested over the incident. They are being investigated for criminal intimidation under Section 506 of the Penal Code, which carries jail time of up to two years, a fine, or both upon conviction.

Lawyer Baljit Singh Sidhu said that photographing customers at such outlets without their consent is illegal and violates their privacy.

He said another concern with these videos is that the faces of minors can be seen in some of the posts, which could be a violation of the Child Act 2001. The Child Act 2001 spells out the restrictions on media reporting and publication regarding vulnerable children.

“Identities of children cannot be disclosed, this is a violation. Action can be taken by the welfare minister,” he said, referring to women, family and community development minister Nancy Shukri.

“(These posts) are something the authorities must look into. They must not be left unchecked.”

Yesterday night almost had an accident in USJ. If uncle being kiasu ... might end up ugly,

Along persiaran kewajipan, after the USJ8 traffic light, uncle drive in the middle lane as usual and keep 1 car distant. suddenly heard a loud revv on my right side and saw a red car coming in fast and it keeping to his left closing in. split second uncle press my car break but still not able to avoid the reckless driver sudden potong masuk with a scratch but manage to avoid his jam break as he cut in quite fast and distant with front car sure very near. After that uncle tracking him potong zig zag between right lane and middle lane despite car are moving moderate speed. However when pass sekolah wawasa US19, the red car slowed down and drive at normal speed at the right lane... uncle easily catch up and took a photo of his car.

the driver was like either trying to runaway from someone, or trying to cut the slow driving. cut even you cut the slow driving, takkan the space just ngam ngam also wanna potong geh....

uncle fetching my son, thus i would drive very careful to avoid accident but still shit happened. My right bumper no kemek but kena scratch and uncle sakit hati. Uncle's vios 9 years had 2 accident, both also cause by others, uncle's NCB never putus before.

uncle question is... uncle dun have dash cam, only manage to take a picture back of the car, get his car plate number, uncle also confirmed that the car's back left bumper got scratch mark and his car got dash cam... possible to make a police report to charge him reckless driving? whether is it worth make police report?

Lip stick print

a high school recently was faced with a unique problem. A number of the girls were beginning to use lip stick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints. Every night the maintenance man would remove them and the next day, the girls would put them back.

Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the maintenance man who had to clean the mirrors every night.

To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance man to show the girls how much effort was required. He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.

Since then, there have been no lip prints on the mirror.

samsung price really overated?

KUALA LUMPUR: There is no reason why the 15th General Election (GE15) must be held soon - except to probably serve the interests of a few politicians, said Barisan Nasional Padang Rengas member of parliament Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz.

He said excuses made by some BN leaders that holding GE15 soon would heal the country from its current economic, health and political crises are illogical.

The former Law Minister pointed out that the current BN-led government has everything at its disposal to find effective ways to deal with issues such as the rising costs of living, inflation, Covid-19 outbreak and weak ringgit.

Therefore, he said the current administration should work on improving the country and the livelihoods of the people instead of being fixated on Umno's call for an immediate GE15.

"There is no strong reason why we should call for GE15 soon. All I see are personal interests. To overcome a problem, you must be in power and we already are in power.

"We can do anything…fight inflation, reduce prices of goods, anything. I am sure MPs from both political divides will support any effort to improve the people's wellbeing, so what's the problem here?

"They wanted power and we already got it. So why call for GE15 soon? There is no pressure from the opposition so why are we pressuring our own government?

"Besides, the cost of GE15 is expected to be RM1 billion. Where are we going to find that money?" he said when contacted.

In a recent interview with Nikkei Asia, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri said now is not the right time to hold a general election, citing the country's spiralling inflation and cost of living.

However, after Umno leaders openly applied pressure on him during BN's 48th anniversary convention last week, Ismail Sabri vowed to call for a general election as soon as the coalition was ready to face one.

Nazri said since Umno and BN had branded themselves as political parties that take care of the people, working towards that goal would be the best service they could offer to struggling Malaysians now.

He also cautioned BN leaders against dragging the Yang di-Pertuan Agong into their drama, while reminding them that the final call to hold GE15 lies with the king, not the prime minister.

Nazri said BN's pledge for political stability could already be achieved now if it weren't for a few political players who are trying to benefit from an early GE15.

"Who is causing instability in the country? It's Umno. The ones pressuring the prime minister for an immediate GE15 are from Umno.

"Instead of pressuring the prime minister about the rising costs of living and other problems faced by the public, they choose to pressure the prime minister to hold GE15 soon. If we are a party that cares for the rakyat, then walk the talk.

"How are they (some Umno leaders) going to achieve stability when they are causing the instability? It is not the opposition who is doing this. It is our people who are pressuring our own prime minister."

Recently, Nazri dared Umno leaders pushing for an early GE15 to seek the approval from the Yang di-Pertuan Agong himself.

He said Umno leaders who are hounding Ismail Sabri for an early GE15 are self-serving and irresponsible.
