Hey guys, im leaving to australia to further my studies in a while, and i heard that buying a cpu there would be much more exp than buying it here and bringing it over. is that true?

Therefore help from all u sifus out here would really be nice!

i have done a little research and im thinking of going with the intel i7 and probably the GTX 580 for the proc and GC for now.

ill be usin the pc just for normal web browsing and also playing games like black ops etc..

any reccomendations?

hey guys i really really need help.. i just changed the refresh rate of my monitor using my NVIDIA display setting to 100 hz, which is a not reccomended rate. now my monitor turns into a black screen as it says it cant support that setting. now im using safe mode only can use the monitor! how to change back that setting?? help ! it was 75 hz actually! help!!! thx!

hi guys, im using AZTECH DSL600E, and im getting like max 50 KB per second of download. but i see some of the forumers have few thousand kbps for their upload and download. its impossible for me to even reach half of their speed. mind telling me how do u guys get those speeds? is it ur streamyx package? is it ur modem? or is it some kinda software that can boost ur speed? or is it the area u live at? thanks for ur time

as we all know, the bloody earthquake has crippled our internet connection to international links.
i tried to connect to steam many times. and failed. does this mean we have to wait until those cables are fixed b4 we can play steam?? and they said it should take 3 months. omg.
