Last fri, i was driving at federal hwy at the fast lane. 3 lanes already packed, and some spot jam till have to complete stop too. One 4wd keep flashing me from behind, but there are cars in front of me too, and 2 cars or more infront and including me very near each other. No siren or police logo can be seen from mirror, just keep flashing.

Even i give way to him, he just take my spot to follow the car which was infront me, unless they give way too and phantom traffic jam will worse. And i stuck in middle lane, slowing middle lane further and hard to go back to fast lane.

When he overtake from most left lane only i saw polis logo at back. But no siren, and cant see from front, how i know if it is emergency? Will i get saman for not giving way to polis in this situation?

should i replace it at proton service centre since it's still under warranty, i should get original bodykit right?

Recommendation on Savings Account

I have just started work early of this year. There's some savings left each month but I would like to establish a more disciplined savings where I plan to transfer a portion of my salary to the new savings account monthly and try not to touch it.

I will not be using it to go shopping, hence I will not benefit fully from OCBC 360.

Have u heard of the Alliance my esavings with quarterly 10% interest? May some1 explain this?

I have hear of Maybank e-GIA but it's not protected by PIDM. Kinda afraid my savings will be gone if anything happen.

Hope u all can recommends me some savings account with good interest rate. I would love to hear your opinions.

My plan is roughly like this:
Deposit RM 500 - RM 1000 monthly into that savings account;
Will not use it to shop or pay bills;

As I know, hardware shop sells plywood, MDF etc. no particleboard.

UMobile ebill fee waive?

Hello guys,

I have just changed to U28 plan recently and I have opt for e-bill.. I found out that RM 3 will be waived if I opt for e-bill but I was still charged RM 28 (before GST) monthly.

Is there a new policy that there will no fees waived even if I changed to e-billing? Anyone can clarify on this? If possible, please elaborate, I have been contacting Umobile Support Centre and they have been replying me in very short sentences that don't really answer my questions. Sigh..

Car Window cannot close properly

The car model is Saga LMST. I'm having the car window problem at driver side. Going up and down is no problem but when it reaches the top, it does not detect it is at top and the motor continuously run. So when the window reaches the top and if Im still pressing it, the window will jerk to a slot lower and then up again and then repeats.

In proper condition, whenever the window reaches the top, the motor will stop running and close properly. The current solution I'm using is just to stop pressing the switch when the window is at the top, but sometimes it's not perfectly closed and hence water will drip in when its raining heavily.

And sometimes, even when I stopped at the top, the window will slowly lowered to the lower slot (I noticed this when I'm driving as noise from outside is louder and then more quiet after I press the switch for a moment, just a tap to increase it to upper slot)

Any ideas why is this happening? And anything I can do to solve this problem?

Rain water leak into car, cracks found

Hello evryone, my back seat is always wet on every rainy day. I had a look and suspect the culprits are some cracks and holes at the door frame (attached to main body of car, not the door itself)

This is the top view of the crack I have found.

Is there anything I can do to seal these off? What about cold weld, epoxy etc? Or its better to send for mudguard as its small and hence, cheap? Im not sure but please give advice. Thank you! =)

Questions about Proton Saga FLX 1.3

My father bought a Proton Saga 1.3 FLX 2 months ago.
So far, not much problem had occured.
But anyhow, I'll list down the problems I encountered throughout my driving
- Check engine light is on sometimes and then goes off after a day or two (Sent the car for the checkup, and the guy said he can't find any problem though the light is still on and said they will checked more thoroughly during 1000km service.
- Noisy brakes at slow speed

But the main question is, does anyone know how to enable auto-luck function? (The doors will lock automatically if the lock button is not pressed within 30 seconds after you leave the car)
- Earlier, I remember the car has this function. But the Proton Guy told me that Saga FLX does not have this function. So I was dreaming before this? Idiot.
- I read this in the web somewhere that if you manually lock the car, it will disable the auto-lock function.
So how can I enable it back? Steps by steps please, I'm not good in cars.

And there is SAT (Stepped Automatic Transmission) function for this car. All I know that it gives 6-gear feeling when the button is pressed.
May I know what is this button for? Will it help to save oil consumption? And WHEN should I use it?
Some said I should use it at the highway to save oil. Is this true?
