So I've been looking around for a place to buy for own stay. For work and personal life, I tend to find myself being around PJ, Subang, and Sunway a lot, with the occasional trip to Damansara and KL. Was previously looking for places in Puchong but then found this interesting place; Arinna @ Kemuning Utama.

From what the salesman told me, got two types; 1009sqft (3R2B) and 1525sqft(4+1R2B). Got some promos like 10% discount, smart home system, semi-furnished, free air conds and RM10K Panasonic voucher (which they promoted as free TV, fridge, and some other stuff but up to you how you wanna spend the voucher). I dunno about the bigger unit but the 1009sqft is about RM500K before discount, and maintenance fee is RM0.35 per sqft, apparently because it's a low density condo. Expected to launch in 2025.

Does anyone here have any thoughts on the condo or the area around it? I know Paramount has a good reputation for a developer so that part I'm not too worried about it but not familiar with this specific part of Kemuning. Also, an existing Kemuning Utama thread seems to be dated back to 2011 so some of the feedback there might not be applicable anymore.

USB-C Hub Help

Hi there, I'm looking around for a USB-C hub to help declutter my setup a little bit. I noticed that most USB-C hubs have rather short cables and I need one that's about 1 to 2 meters long as I'm connecting it to my desktop. After a quick Google search, I noticed a number of people saying that USB C hubs won't work or won't work well when used with extension cables. Is there anything I can look for that can help with this situation? As I'm not sure if one that can accept Power Delivery would help or not.

Also, I'm looking for a USB-C hub, preferably with at least 4 USB-A ports and wireless charging built-in. The latter I don''t mind as much as I could always purchase a separate wireless charging pad if needed. Anything else is a plus. It's mostly to have convenient access to USB ports as my PC is on the floor but if I ever need to use it on my laptop for whatever reason, it would be convenient as well as, especially if I can charge from it provided there's enough power.

Is 50dB Too Loud for Fan Noise?

They say that the ROG STRIX SCAR 2 will have the fan noise up to 50dB when gaming, and lower when running other smaller tasks. But is 50dB too loud? I'm not sure how loud is 50dB but it does sound like a big number

Notable Difference STRIX Hero 2 and SCAR 2?

My brother wants to buy a gaming laptop and he seems interested in these two. Is there any vital difference between the two that I should be aware of? Scared later buy then he complain, lol.
Seems like everything the same to me, both also got GTX and RTX cards, design seems to be essentially the same

Will There Be Price drop for GTX Laptops?

With RTX laptops slowly making their way to the market here, can we expect a good price drop for GTX laptops? Or are they gonna slowly remove them completely? Like with the STRIX SCAR II laptops, seems like the only difference is the GPU, everything else is the same but they seem to be offering both at the moment.

Would Bigger Laptops Actually Be Better?

Gaming on PC will cause the machine to heat up. It can be handled better on desktop but can be a bit tough for laptops due to its size. Is it actually better to target bigger laptops like the ROG G703 for better cooling potential? Or is there some other key factor to cooling to take note of?

USB-C Hub Needs Thunderbolt or Not?

I'm looking to have a rather mobile office solution for myself and I've been considering the Zenbook Pro 15. Thing is, I personally need more ports and I don't mind getting a USB-C hubs but just wondering, does it need to be a Thunderbolt port or regular USB-C ports also can use without issues? This is in case i need to use the hub on other machines as well as I understand the zenbook has Thunderbolt port.

Does the Zenbook Pro 15 come with Pen?

Looking at the recently launched TUF Gaming FX505, the specs seems to be pretty much the same as the FX504 (Coffee Lake and up to 1060 GPU). Is there any major differences in features and would it be worth going for this instead of the older FX504 now? All I see is just a sturdier body.

I'm looking at the official website for the TUF Gaming FX505 features and it says that it is very durable with "Military-Grade" build. Is it really that strong though? Like, would it be able to easily withstand damages if it fell to the floor or if I decide to smash my boss in the face (just joking on that last example )?
