anyone have any information/experience/opinion about Optotronic Semiconductor company (Kamunting).
i was scheduled an interview with them this friday for Process Engineer position.i have 3 years working experience in semiconductor industry.apart of gathering infos from their website and google ( ), it will be such a pleasure if i can get much more information from LYN members as well.thanks in advance!

hi,
i've been thinking about this thing for a while actually.
i'm currently working in semiconductor industry for about 3years already (my first job after graduated with degree in chemical engineering).i must say that i have very minimum knowledge in semiconductor (since its kinda deviate from my degree) before i work there and very grateful that they still wants to hire me so basically,i have to learn everything from zero and i manage to survive the reason why i still take this job eventhough it is not related to my degree is because i dont want to be choosy.for me,i have to gain experience first.so,here i am
now,i'm thinking of finding new job,just to expand my skills and knowledge because i dont want to be too comfortable being at one place for a long time.the problem is,should i search for vacancies that related to my working experience,or related to my degree?i love everything about chemical engineering but i dont think i can remember all those things that i've studied before. and i dont really fancy EE,but i have work experience with them.so,please kindly give some opinions here thanks in advance.

hi,
my parcel from US was hold by customs. i bought around 20 pieces of cosmetics stuff during cyber monday promotion (went crazy ordering them )
yesterday DHL called that i need pharmacy notification to release my parcel from customs.does anyone knows what is pharmacy notification?what is the percentage that my parcel will be able to release and what is the procedure?can i ask DHL personnel to handle this for me? Thanks in advance

Friendship matter

hi everyone,
as per mentioned title,this is not love issue.it's more to friendship matter.i have a bestfriend (a guy) since 2006.we have very similar personality,similar interest and similar thought.he can simply read my mind, and same goes to me.i really care about him and i love him like my own family.he always there for me whenever i need him and vice versa.since my bf is studying at oversea (at that time), he is the one that i will talk and tell anything that bother me.pls dont talk about friendzone and stuff here.this is real girl+guy friendship.he aware about my bf and that's actually makes him comfortable to be friend with me and sometimes i will act like his "wall" to avoid those girls out there that trying to flirt with him (he has this kind of charm that makes girl easily fall in love with him.but he really doesnt want to fall in love until he finish study and have stable life).

and now,he is at johor and i'm at north malaysia.but we still contact each other via fb,phone calls and so forth.so,the issue i'm having right now starts when his mother passed away last few weeks.i was very shocked and sad since i cant do anything for him.i sent him some encouragement messages and after few days only he replied me.i was very relieved but i realize that he acting weird to me.he's not like before.i know this might be the impact because he lost his mother.i truly understand that so i tried to give him some space.but he does treat his other friends as usual,make jokes and being cheerful as he used to be.i cant deny it but i really feel awkward vibes whenever we chat.then he started to post weird status on twitter which i think might be referring to me.he wrote something like below :

"Ppl chnge.situation chnge.we chnge.its inevitable.lets deal w it open heartedly.u wil get anthr best bddy evntualy.time chnge evrthg"

"Stop being possesive.don't cry because of me.we are not even dating.please,love urself more k."

the second one really strike through my heart.i try to be positive by thinking it might be for his admirers but it still hurts me.i was left and betrayed by my bestfriends (girls) few years ago that makes me very insecure about having friends.and now i think i might have to face it again.i am scare and sad but i try to look cool and didnt show any emotion to him.i want to ask him about this but i'm afraid this will makes him stressed even more.whenever i think about the time we spent together in those 6years++,i feel really sad.i dont have many friends,and the one and only friend i truly care about is leaving me as well.should i have a talk with him about this or just let it through and act like normal/let the time heals everything?usually whenever i have some funny stories,i will excitedly tell him.but now,i just have to keep it to myself.pls advice what should i do to encounter this problem

hi all,
this thing has been hunting me for quite a while actually.ok,a bit background of my bf.we have been together for almost 4 years (Long distance relationship until now) he graduated from one of the university in US and have a lot of close friends there.you know how malaysian students at overseas.they were very close,always cook together and were like family.well,that's that.
when all of them back for good to malaysia,they always meet up and spend some times together.currently my BF is at KL (continuing his master) while i'm at perak (working) so we cant meet always.sometimes once in 3 months time.he always tells me stories about his friends (girl) and he really wants to introduce me to them.to cut story short,i finally be able to meet them in a function.i was so nervous and excited and i even plan what to talk about and how to behave.since i was born in a family with 5 brothers ,i somehow not very girly in my way of speaking.i do jokes a lot with my friends. the first few minutes looks ok,we talk a bit,intro a bit.then when more of his friends came (boys and girls) and gather together,they started to talk about their memories during uni times,talk about their US life and stuff i dont know.i tried to join along,but i cant.i dont know how to interrupt.i'm not kind of girl who into branded stuffs since coming from moderate family,so when the girls started to talk about that,i felt intimidated and left out.well,you can say that i'm a bit awkward as well with people i dont know.they were so happy talking together and i'm the only one stranger there.so i just keep quiet until the end of the function.on the way back home,my bf asked why i was so quiet.i just simply said i dont know what to talk about but deep inside my heart,i feel so miserable and sad.i feel like i have failed my bf's expectation and his friends must be thinking that i'm a very boring girl.until now,i always give excuses whenever my bf ask me to join he and his friends gathering.

so,i would like to ask LYN's member some advices on how to mingle with his friends and to look less awkward.no harsh words pls.i'm trying to improve myself here
