My setting as in the picture, router & pc at the first floor and STB & media player at Gnd floor.

I'm using Homeplug between the floor. The homeplug was broken once and I pull an ethernet cable between the floor.
Unfortunately, I can't use all 4 pair (cable problem) to separate both STB & media player. So I use the ethernet for STB and homeplug for media player...
Last week the homeplug was broken again..

I'm exploring the possibility using two router WR1043ND with OpenWRT since I saw on KLSEET site the ability on setting VLAN and trunk on TL-WR1043ND.

Need some advice,
Can this be done using TL-WR1043ND??
Is this config also usable on TL-WR941ND or TL-WR740ND??
