[WTA] Torrentflux & vpn

i came across of the term of torrentflux + vpn in LYN. so i did some googling on it.

Yet i'm still unclear of how to use it.

But so far, i know that torrentflux cannot be used on Windows?

If i were to install torrentflux on my ubuntu through vmware, how would i transfer the files back and forth?

and by hosting server on torrentflux, what does it mean by that?

how does vpn helps in torrentflux?

Well, back then i was using 1mbps and my connection is totally fine, stable and i get consistent speed as well, so i'm fine with it.

But, recently my mum did a upgrade to 2Mbps at TM regarding the blockbuster deal and she said that if we upgrade to the deal, the calls she make will be free since the deal is free unlimited calls.

my problem is, ever since my port is increased to 2048/512, i'm starting to suffer frequent disconnection, not for long, its just dc for like < 1 minute, then connection is back, it doesn't seem like my DSL blinked or anything, its just suddenly like my connection dropped. After a short while, then my connection is back.

At first, i thought it was just some dc but as time goes by, the frequency of getting a dc is getting higher and sometimes my DSL even blinked.
i got a dc rate of 70 reconnections in 1 day and 15 hours. oh damn

So, now my question is:

1. Will my SNR/Line attenuation affect the disconnections? since my SNR is below par [15-19] and my line attenuation is 42.x
2. Modem problems, perhaps? previously i was using Aztech 605EW and through the upgrade, i got the new Innacom W3100 from TM. i tested both, for the first few hours it was fine, after a day or two, it will start getting dcs.

Opinions or solutions, anyone?
