After my husband lose her job..he can't afford to pay monthly RM1070 car loan..today, again i helped to pay using the kids saving.
These has been continued for a year and now, we have very less cash amount in bank. He is planting vegetables like sawi and cili padi..income very not stable. My gross salary is just RM2.5K, monthly commitment already taken RM2.1K

I've asked PBB guy how much is the total settlement amount, he told me is RM17.5K

I've asked the car dealer value of trade in, it is roughly around or below this figure but not lesser than RM10K provided I have paid all my outstanding amount.

What is the best options for me?

1. Sell off the car and get a cheap 2nd hand car? (We need 2 cars..i need
to go to work (Melaka) and he to drive the kids to school (Tampin)

2. Being offered a top up loan by HLB, interest about 5.45% per annum.
Bank told me 80% of house value..i will can loan up to RM43K
but I'm only going to loan RM30K to payoff the Camry and the
balance i will use it to repair my house and standby some balance
for kids kindy fees or sometimes the maintenance fee for Camry

3. Get a new car which required below RM600 for 9yrs?

Need advice..before making a rush decision. Tq.

Flat , 3rd floor, 700sqf - 3 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom (without renovation)
Infested with termites

Bank Value : RM67k
Agent propose : RM45k (no need to come out the cost of repairing or anti-termite service)

I've asked my friend about repairing cost, he said it will be below 10K but i need to engage
with the pest control service first then only can start the repairing.

Should i sell it for 45k or should i repair the house and sell it with higher value?

The story starts when the boss of a local company always looks for my brother to help troubleshoot his plastic injection molding machine.
The boss also asked my brother to recommend ppl who can help him with his production. My brother recommend a few but most of them
resign.
So the boss offered my brother to work for him. Either is part-time or full-time.
He told my brother, he had this plans of letting my brother handle the production with his own manpower.
So he could concentrate expanding the sales.

My brother is looking forward for the offer because his current company (working there for more than 17yrs) doesn't have a chance to promote or grow.
So my brother tender his resignation letter and joined the company on 12/07/17.

When my brother start work, he told me the boss put his position as Technician. My brother inform the boss to change the title to production exec due
to his salary didn't match the title. His salary was 4.8k and he didn't even request for higher due to my brother thinks a small company with only 4 machines.
And to request more is not making sense.

Brother said he is very free everyday..after setting up machine to run products, he got nothing to do.
He didn't want to take the pay for granted, so he help around the production and several other dept.

On 28/08/17, when my brother going to off duty, suddenly the boss ask him for a short discussion. He told my brother, he didn't need to come to work after this.
Reason is he find him not suitable to working there.

My brother suddenly become jobless. And loses he monthly income. I am feeling very mad about this. Because i feel this boss is so un-fair.
Both of my parents (both also above 80yrs old) are staying with my brother and he have 2 kids (5yr old and 1 1/2yr).
He got car loan 1.2k to pay monthly and also other expenses like babysitter fee, food, milk, household expenses.
His wife salary just 2.5k and paying insurance for whole family abt 1.2k, definitely she couldn't adsorb all the expenses

I'm thinking of reporting this employer to IR but when my brother show me the appointment letter that he signed, i am stunned.

My brother didn't read carefully...i myself think this is not an appointment letter but a service contract.

Question: Will i succeeded to claim at least 2 months of my brother's wages if i bring this letter to IR dept.?

My brother still need time to find job. And with the soft market, it is very difficult to find a job with similar job experience.

my own experience with samsung led tv

My friend is working as manager at one of the Senheng Johor branch.
He said there's a opening promotion for this TV. So, I bought it in 26th Oct 2012 (4 days after our wedding)
We didn't register the warranty online.

After 1 year 3 months, I noticed the screen start to have dark shadow on the upper panel.

I call to Senheng and ask what is the procedure to return this defect part for repair.
And I told him, this TV, we yet to register the warranty online. He said he need to check and didn't return my call.
I call again, but this time another guy answer my call and said will help me to check, but also didn't return my call.

At last i gave up..and ask someone abt the repair cost..and he comes back telling me is RM800

OK...if RM800 better I bought a new one.

Until this date, we haven't bought a new TV.
We seldom watch tv because my daughter want to watch her DVDs only...but when we watch,
it really makes us no mood..

I make a promised to myself, i won't buy Samsung led TV in the future.

Now, CNY is coming...relatives are coming back to stay a week, and i'm thinking should i bought a new TV.
My brother-in-law, he will watch tv from morning until midnight, everyday, until the day he
wanna return back home.

A bit pain in the heart if sees my new TV being tortured like that.

Anyhow, i still need to buy before GST come.

Which led TV will meet my budget for below RM1.5K ?

Thinking of buying bigger than 40", good picture quality and have SMART function

Hi....anyone bought hp using installment pay plan by UOB before?

I plan to buy Note 4 but i'm worried i will had a hard time to send for claim if my phone have issues.

I have called their merchant Tri-E marketing, they said the hp is ORI and have warranty for a year.
I could send to samsung service center if there's any issue.

I also asked about extending the warranty but TRI-E marketing ask me to refer back to UOB bank.

Should i proceed with my plan?

Breast Cancer

Need advice here...

My mum (58yo) discover a lump on her left breast (near to nipple) and I bring her Putra Hospital to do an ultrasound and meet a doctor which is a general surgeon.
The doctor mentioned the lump can't be determined and suggest to remove the lump and send to test.
The operation cost will be RM5K-RM6K. Due to my mum is not covered by insurance, I bring her to GH to seek medical help.

At GH, the doctor uses a fine needle and syringe to take a sample of cells from the breast lump and send to lab.
We thought result shouldn't be so fast, but we were wrong, the nurse call us to meet doctor on 29/1 (just 3 days after my mum took the test)
After the biopsy result came back..the doctor said is cancer..yet to determine which stage but doctor advice is to do a mastectomy and follow up by chemo therapy.
My mum will need to do mammogram on 17/2 and operation on 25/2

My mum were sad and scare because need to went through the operation and chemo therapy.

My siblings did bring her to seek chinese medical help, the doctor said my mum get this sickness is because of the food she taken and less go to toilet and
generate toxin in body and causes cancer. He gave her chinese herbs pills and said after taken it, the breast will engorged and discharge puss. Puss is the
toxin. The herbs will also generate antibody to fight the cancer. And said didn't need to do the operation.
Now this chinese sinseh, have good feedback from other patients..

My questions are:

1) Is it necessary to remove the whole breast instead of the lump?
2) Will the pain after surgery is bearable for a 58yo?
3) Can my mum endure the chemo therapy? I heard is quite awful.
4) The chinese medical pills, can my mum take while waiting for the next examination? Will it cause more trouble to the sickness?

Previously working at a local pharmaceutical company as order entry exec but quit due to lady boss demands too many..eg: stay back after working hours (employment letter mention 5.45pm but I left office around 6pm due to colleagues mention she don't like her staffs leave on time. But she still saying I go back on time during appraisal time)

She say I didn't communicate with her..I said I'm concentrate working but she said skills just stand 29% of our working performance, the rest still depends on communication to climb up to another position. In other words..she just want me to kipas her or to feedback to her on other staffs behavior during working hours.

Family business, office politics very jia lat.

I have experience working in electronics company and wire cable company as customer service, sourcing & sales coordinator..

Age 34, have a 13mo baby to take care..SPM level with 17 years of working experience..last salary taken is rm2450

Hope someone can recommend a job for me..last I have browsed jobstreet, jobsdb & newspaper..apply a few jobs..call direct employers but since i dun know Chinese..I'm not suitable for the job.

I have been smoking for more than 10 years but this thing will still happen..i don't know why..
Obviously, I can't go to doctor and ask him about this issue..

Anybody have the same problem?

P/S: I have smoking addiction and find it hard to quit...

Wanna share my unhappy experience

Last Wednesday, around 6pm, i went to a NCS (PC SHOP) buy TP-Link W8951ND wireless router
I call TM to double check my username and password.

A staff help me to setting, so i waited at the shop for them to set..then B staff come to help A to setting.
I asked them what's wrong?

Both of them tell me, after setting, the router cannot connect to Internet, then they ask me whether the
username and password is correct. I said Yes.

They use around 30-45 minutes to rectify the problem..then they ask me whether my internet were online at home
I told them I didn't remember whether I got off the modem at home.

So, they ask me to try the router at home since all the settings already done, I just need to plug in the cable only.
If still can't, they advice me to call TM and ask them to help me if I still cannot connect to internet

I reach home and found out, I did off my modem
When I try the router at home, it still cannot connect to the internet, I read the manual about setting and it was set correctly.
I call TM to help me set the modem but they mistakenly think that I'm reporting streamyx issue and open a report for me
At last I surrender and use back TM modem and I can go online already.

The next day, I call back the PC shop, told them I still can't access internet. Staff A says my username and password were incorrect..
it was detected by checking on website (I dunno what website they use to check) Request me to check back with TM.
I call TM again and provide the username and password info to them. They reply the info were correct

So, I call back the pc shop and tell them my username and password is correct, Staff A reply they will check again.
I told staff A maybe the router have hardware issue and gave them a few options to settle the matter:

1) Try using the same router in your shop and test
2) Try using other brand router to test
3) I can send it to their branch at Tmn Merdeka Permai to check (it is nearer to the place I work)

And, if the problem comes from the router, I prefer to exchange other brand router at the branch, same price with the one I bought

After 30mins, staff A called me and told me to bring the router back to NCS and not their branch.

Reason: The technical staff at HQ has more experience, the router brands at their branch is limited.

Damm..I need to travel around 50mins to reach the place

I asked him, whether already find out what is wrong with the router?
He said TP-Link setting is a bit hard to set.
I asked him, if it is confirm hardware issue, what's the solution for it?
He said will exchange D-Link router to me, same price as TP-Link.

Additonal Info:
*It is the same model I bought in Dec'12, too bad lightning has strike it.
*Now I'm using Streamyx modem which the wireless function already spoilt.
*I got survey one shop for the price and the boss told me, buy D-Link better bcos recently he had send a few of TP-Link (batch 2013) router
back to the factory due to connection issue, he set the router at his shop it's fine but when they go home, they have trouble connecting to internet)

My questions:
1) The rumour of TP-Link wireless router have issues for 2013 batch, izzit true? Anybody facing this issue?
2) Izzit true TP-Link wireless router is hard to setting? (PS: In Dec'12, I bought the same model at PC World, they just use 10mins to set)
3) Should I use back the router if they successfully setting it?
4) When I test the router at home, I notice the router is hot even I just turn on for 30mins. Izzit normal?

Hope can give me some advice on this matter. I'm a noobie
