browser or taskbar prob?

Hiya peeps,

Recently whenever I open my browser, it is not listed on the taskbar. Likewise, when I minimise it, it won't appear in taskbar for me to maximise it so I need to open it through Task Manager. Any idea on how to fix this? Same goes to any other applications. I have to bring it to front using the task manager and its really frustrating. Help please.

Trojan.Peacomm

Today my Norton Antivirus informed me that I have Torjan.Peacomm . I don't know what is it, but i heard it's some kind of encrypted virus. However, my antivirus have already expired and it can't trace it anywhere. So I've installed AVG anti-virus 7.5 but it can't trace the trojan as well. I've even use Spybot and HijackThis log to trace, to no avail. Can anyone please help? I've 500GB of HDD, and it's almost fully used. I did partition my HDD too. The problem is I can't trace where the trojan is, so I do not know what to do. PLease help!

Norton even tell me my most frequent attacker: 218.208.44.138

Help needed

HI, I was browing my files and folders and suddenly my whole computer start changing. I don't really know how to fix it, and I've tried every possible way to fix but it just doesn't seem to be working. Below is the image:

Usually on the left side there'll be like a panel indicating to either copy/move/delete files as well as the file information. As my case above, the panel seems to dissapear all of the sudden. Can anyone enlighten me?

Window XP and Core 2 Duo?

HI, I'm a bit wary of this, and would like to know. I have a friend who bought core 2 duo processor. She first installed pirated window and got this message from MIcrosoft to purchase genuiene window. SO she kinda have problems with transfering her files. She took it to the shop and they say its the window software that is causing the problem.

Thus, she installed the original window XP 2002. when i use the computer, it's kinda slow than before(when using the pirate window). does this have any connection? with core 2 duo and 1GB RAM, her computer can even hang(frozen). I'm very surprised.

Please enlighten me.
