Thinking about selling my house

Hello fellow lyners,

I have been thinking about it for quite a while. The thing is I have spend a lot of $ on it, monthly repayment, tax, insurance, maintenance, etc..you name it. I don't feel I hv gotten good return from keeping the house, I might as well cash it out an invest the money on ASB or ASW or whatever for better returns. Ok, here is the low-down of the whole thing. It's a 2 storey terrace, values at least $350,000 on the market, with remaining loan balance of $38,000 and $500 monthly repayment. My after-sales plan is to put $200,000 in ASB, $100,000 in ASW and rent a $800-$900 per-month bare-unit house. BTW, my monthly income is around $5000.

It sounds like a good plan to me but I'd appreciate other people's views/suggestions on the whole plan, the return on ASB/ASW, etc or any negative sides of it, if any.

I purchased a property which I got loan from Sime Bank. As you know, Sime Bank was bought over by RHB some years back. I have been servicing my loan till now. My questions:

1 - Is my current loan agreement valid?
2 - If not valid, what should I do? What should the bank do? Can I get the interest rate revised based on current rate?
3 - What is the best action you can recommend?

Just thought of asking.

Let's say you resign from company A to accept offer from company B.

Suddenly company B terminate the job offer without paying you a single sen, and suddenly you realize you are out of job. I know it is totally unfair situation.

What would you do? Can Labor Dept assist you? How?

Can you take legal action against the company? How?

Who can assist to sort this thing out so that you can at least be compensated and possibly get the new job back probably thru legal action?
