I have a mortgage which current loan is RM670K, MLTA sum insured is RM650k.

Every year I have to pay RM3685.50. Cover for 38 years.

Am I kena conned?

Why my friend told me his mortgage insurance like few hundred for covering until loan is finished pay ah? Is that MRTA?

What Asus dual-band router suitable for 300Mbps

Hi, I'm using Asus single-band router and my ISP is Time and since they have changed my subscription to 300Mbps I think I'm not even getting half of the performance of 300Mbps.

Four people using the Internet under one roof and I have an VPN account and using stream to watch football match in 30Mbps HD is lag when other three peoples are playing Dota, watch online dramas etc...

I like Asus router because it has served me 3 years with no problem at all.

Please suggest a dual-band Asus router that meet my requirements above? Since Asus has plenty of choices at the consumer market right now.

I'm not that tech savvy in Network thingie although I'm a programmer. I need to make sure I won't overspent on a router that overkill my needs and the Internet performance and also need to make sure the money is spent on the right router because I think this one won't be cheap.

Time broadband has upgrade my Internet speed

This morning I just received email from Time Broadband saying that they have upgraded my Internet speed from 20mbps to 300mbps. (Yes one more zero lol), subscription plan and fee unchanged, and I thought they got typo but when I go to their website for more detail, it is true..

Unlimited download and upload bandwidth.

Hmmm.. tonight will test the speed...

Went to DIY shop located in SS2 Mall, PJ and saw this spigen products. Just cost RM6.90 and when I look at the detail and material of the boxing and the casing itself it doesn't look like a fake product.

Hi, I would like to set up a simple home theater for my condo living room. I would like to buy soundbar rather than complete bulky and dust-collecting 5.1 system.

My budget is around RM3000. Currently, my choice are SONY HT-ST7, YAMAHA YSP2200 or Sonos Playbar. Which one do you think is better and why? Anyone own any of these model or others, and can you share your opinion?

Lawyer fees for stampduty,legal and loan agreement

I would like to buy a subsale condo. Besides stamp duty and loan agreement, do I need to prepare cash as well for the lawyer fee? I heard that I need to pay lawyer for stamp duty, legal papers, and loan agreement processing fee as well. I also heard that I can get discount from lawyer for around 50% discount. Is that true?

Also, the condo that I wish to buy is priced at RM670k.

Japanese couple found dead in Mont Kiara apartment

KUALA LUMPUR: The bodies of a Japanese couple were found in the bathroom of their apartment in Mont Kiara here.

City CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Ku Chin Wah said the housekeeper found the bodies of the married couple, aged 38, at around 10am on the 13th floor apartment unit.

"We believe the husband was electrocuted while taking a shower.

"His wife heard the noise in the bathroom and came to his aid but was also electrocuted," he said when contacted on Monday.

The body of the man was in the nude while the woman was fully clothed.

It is believed the water heater unit short-circuited leading to the electrocution.

SAC Ku said the case has been classified as sudden death.

"The bodies have been sent to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for post mortem," he said adding that police would be taking the statement of the housekeeper soon.

Suspected unit is Mont Kiara Bayu lol... most of the units are being occupied by Japanese currently. (Sorry no offense to those who live inside there, just guessing and sampat here)

I'm now looking for a Mont Kiara unit for own stay too.. so now I might need to consider another place to buy.. At least the unit without centralized water heater ...

Good option for security without grill door.

Hi recently I'm buying a condo (15th floor, 2-tier security). I don't like to install grill, makes the feeling of living inside cage (totally no offense and just my problem), but my gf insists to install a grill door.

Any good option (e.g strong, hard-to-break and high security door) available? so I don't have to install grill. If got, could you please provide the link and details?

I'm buying a condo in Mon't Kiara Bayu, 798 square feet (1+1 Room, 2 bathrooms),mid-floor, for RM580,000 with full furniture.

Is this OK?

I'm asking the agent about the price persqft and he said it is actually depend on the unit size. Different size of unit will have different price of persqft is that true? I thought what we seen on price persqft is actually applied on all types of units in one condo.

Currently I have studied online about Spigen SGP Glas Tr and what I found out in the local Apple reseller shops like Mac studio, i store... and online stores, some Apple reseller stores sell around rm130 and some of them sell RM180 (rm50 price gap??) and both of them are without the back protector.(what is going on out there??) I check on the Spigen official website and found out that the back protector is included.

Also, I found out at most of the online resellers sell the Glas Tr with back protectot, around price of RM130. I also studied that there's a lot of FAKE Spigen SGP products. How can I check whether the product I bought is genuine?
