Vivo X100 / X100 Pro

Hi! Starting a new Thread as there seems to be none created for Vivo X100 Series yet!

Let me kickstart with this:

I am deciding whether to go with a Global (FuntouchOS) or China (OriginOS) with Vivo X100 Pro.

After hours of reading up and going through video reviews, my conclusion is FuntouchOS is like a Vanilla/stripped-down version but with Google services, and OriginOS is the full suite without Google services.

I am almost convinced with the Global version as my daily driver (especially for Android Auto and Nearby Share that I use alot), but recently I learnt about the Blue Heart AI Assistant (VIVO Blue Heart AI Assistant Review). It is so powerful, that I feel it will be a deciding for me.

HOWEVER...

As I will be using the X100 Pro here/outside China, I have a few concerns going with OriginOS. And this is where I am asking your help especially those who have this phone, on OriginOS and using it outside of the mainland.

1. Have you tried the AI Assistant? (You can enable it via the Jovi App). If yes, do you get slow network connection or network not found issues? I heard this might happen to some services exclusive for use in China only.

2. Are Western VPN apps blocked on OrignOS? Can I install (e.g. via Google Play) and connect to VPN?

3. What are the biggest issue for core Android functionalities for you (besides delayed notifications, I am aware of that)? Google contact sync works? Bloatware services get turned on even after disabled? Unknown power consumptions?

Regarding AF

This thing has been bugging me for quite some time already.

As you all may have already noticed many new models introduced by various manufacturers include Camera with high Mpx but no AF.... which seems kind of pointless.

My question is: can these model obtain AF via firmware upgrade? Or is it a hardware compoenent in the phone?
