Triple Monitor Setup

Hey guys, I am currently planning on having a triple monitor setup and am wondering what the best way to go around it was.

Currently, I have both computer monitors hooked up to my HD 6870 (1 via HDMI, 1 via DVI)

Because the 2nd DVI port apparently doesn't work for 6870s, I read that I have to go with using a MiniDP if I want to have a 3rd display.

Eyeing a MiniDP to HDMI from this thread to make it happen. Thoughts?

I'm also wondering if it makes any difference if the MiniDPs are passive or active as well.

Adjusting Heatsink Fan?

Being really new to this whole cooling business, I recently replaced my stock Intel HSF with a CoolerMaster V6GT which apparently uses dual PWM fans. The temperature readings on it is pretty decent, but my question is how do I go about adjusting the speed of the fan without using a fan speed controller?

If it helps, I am using a Gigabyte motherboard, and have tried using EasyTune6, though I have no idea how to go about that either.
Golgo 13: The Series

Unfortunately, this show does not have any phallic references. Sorry to disappoint.

Instead, the show talks about a ruthless Hitman-esque assassin by the name of Duke "Golgo 13" Togo, who of course kills people in the most fashionable method conceivable.

Take the first episode for example: Golgo 13 takes out a target from across the airstrip in a single hit, who's protected by 3 inches of glass. Hey, I never said anything about this being realistic, but for those who loves gratuitous violence and firearms, this is a must watch. Sure the art may not be too appealing, but considering this is a remake of the classic, I think it does a fine job. Either way, Akagi's art was crap yet people loved it, so this should be no exception, since it's a BUFFET OF MANLINESS.

Not enough? Remember what I said about this not having penis talk? I lied:

If that doesn't convince you to try this out, I don't know what will.

Then again, considering AS' demographic that seems to be skewed towards mainstream lulzy moe rehashes, I have my doubts now.

[shameless plug]Episode 1 review up at my site[/shameless plug]

Instead of focusing on the usual 2 person vs the entire nation type of storyline(lawl code geass), it's talks more about the two central leads and how they deal with the war itself at a more personal level, or wolfx calls it "a kino-esque-feel-good series" j/k it does seem calmer than your typical war genre anime, so I can see where that came from, not forgetting the fact it's by the same guy. NO TALKING BIPLANES THOUGH.

For you moetards, Allison herself is a tsundere-like tomboyish character, so there's something for everyone wwww

Already covered the first two episodes so far, so check it out if you're still not sure.

Maid Cafe? In My Malaysia?

Remember, it's all Malaysian, so expecting too much out of this will only end in disappointment. Still, it's probably the first of its kind and very new, so it might improve in time(maybe) and serve as a forerunner to future local maid cafes. Now that you've understood that much at least, do proceed....

WITH CAUTION

Wireless Router Issues

I recently bought a Linksys WRT54G broadband router in order to share the internet connection. The problem now however, is that while I can get it up and running and I'm able to go online with the PC(using a network cable) I can't seem to be able to do the same using my laptop(wireless) Are there any settings that I need to configure on the router itself?(Wireless mode activated, with the security function turned off). Also, through the laptop, it detects the wireless network and is able to link to it, but it can't go online as well for some reason. It's running on Vista by the way, if that matters. Any help will be appreciated.

Linksys ADSL2MUE teh suxxor?

I'm the unfortunate owner of what some people in other tech forums have dubbed "a $100 plastic brick". Before I return to the shop where I bought it and cave the heads of the people who sold me this thing, I'd like to know if it's really just me, the modem itself or other internal/external factors.

First off, when I got it, it looked like any other ADSL modem out there but after installing it, I found it had a built in NAT firewall in it, and the only way to turn it off was to hook it up to a router or use the bridged mode.

This is where my nightmares begin. One of the flaws of this particular modem, is that it very unstable and is unable to handle too many connections at once. It'll suddenly disconnect itself after a while or just freezes the entire connection(All I'm running are MSN Messenger, BitComet and doing some web browsing) It also probably means this modem is unfit for P2P usage. Even for normal direct downloads, I find the speed very unstable as it'd go very high and suddenly drop to an abysmal 0.1 kbp/s. I'm using streamyx's 1.0mb connection btw, and this is not connection related as I had no problems before this(had to switch modems after the old one got fried in a lightning storm) Worse of all, there seems to be no related support available at Linksys' main site or any firmwares.

tl;dr

1. Unable to handle many connections.
2. Bad for P2P usage.
3. Annoyingly unstable.
4. Built in NAT firewall

So what do you think, fellow lowyatards? Was I ripped off and bought a lame excuse for an ADSL modem, is it just me or are there any other factors involved?
