Strange GE_1.07 D'Link TM Firmware

Recently, i've just upgraded to the 4mbps streamyx package. This is the highest speed they said that my area can support. Which is strange because,

and thats not the problem, in this firmware version, theres no upnp. I've also researched the internet, they say that this firmware cause the router to overheat and to drop the internet connection.

all torrent downloads are not able to achieve full speed and none of my network printers work

My question is, is it safe to flash the sea_1.00 stable version to my router. It says the router requires a "h/w: t" in order to flash but my router has a "h/w: t1". Can i flash it? The last time when i flashed the wrong firmware to a dlink router caused the router to brick.

Any advice?
