http://forum.lowyat.net/ Sat, 06 Jun 2026 01:44:45 +0800 FeedCreator 1.7.2 http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2546510 PETALING JAYA: A man was shot four times after he rammed into a policeman on motorcycle and a police patrol car along the Shah Alam Highway.<br /> <br />The man, who has a prior record for intimidation, also led the police on a brief high speed pursuit before he was apprehended.<br /> <br />The drama unfolded at around 2am on Saturday when a police patrol car and two policemen on motorcycles spotted the man driving a Proton Perdana V6 driving from Puchong to Subang Jaya while on their crime prevention rounds.<br /> <br />“They attempted to stop the vehicle but without warning, the driver rammed into one of the policemen on motorcycle and the police patrol car,” said Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Mohd Adnan Abdullah.<br /> <br />He said the car then sped off and police chased after the suspect.<br /> <br />“The chased the car at high speed for about two kilometres and police fired eight shots at the vehicle to get the driver to stop.<br /> <br />“The car was eventually stopped and the man was found to have been shot four times in the arm and ribs,” he said.<br /> <br />SAC Mohd Adnan said the man was rushed to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre and is in stable condition.<br /> <br />“Initial investigations revealed the man has a criminal record for intimidation related offences,” he said, adding that the man&#39;s urine also tested positive for drugs.<br /> <br />He said the case was classified under Section 324 and 307 of the Penal Code for causing hurt and attempted murder respectively<br /><br /><a href='http://starazurearr.cloudapp.net/news/story.asp?file=/2012/10/13/nation/20121013140455&sec=nation' target='_blank'><!--emo&:D--><img src='http://static.lowyat.net/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--></a> CyberDuck The Museum Of Kopitiam Sat, 13 Oct 2012 14:39:21 +0800
