batch file to ease annoyances

I only know how to do this after reading online tutorial and only know for windows, so if anyone know it for *nix system please feel free to add to this thread! Also feel free to correct my code if ii am doing something unnecessary.

1) For windows XP (or NT equiv), create a .cmd file such as flushdns.cmd (windows 98 make it .bat)
2) Open file in notepad
3) copy / paste this into file and save

cmd /k c:\windows\system32\ipconfig.exe /flushdns

So from now on you can just double click that file or shortcut and it will perform flushdns.

Can do same thing for release or renew:

In M'sia where Java used most?

Just curious, where Java is used most in M'sia? It seems hard to find web host that have Tomcat to run JSP, so I'm guessing its rarely used for web app building here, am I right or just obviously clueless?

So what platform you mostly code Java for?

I am wanting to upgrade my old rig, dreaming about 22" widescreen for desktop and for pluging lappy into and ... umm an apple Macbook (black) haha ... whats your geek wet dream setup ?

Can I ask MySQL to pad record if its not there?

I want to select a records by date, problem is, I want MySQL to return an empty value (perhaps default column value) even if on that date, there are no entries.

Like:
12/01/06 - New members: 5
12/03/06 - New members: 2

There is nothing for 12/02/06 but I want to have at least a zero value returned. Can this be done with MySQL?

my email antivirus keeps scanning outgoing email

I'm using AVG and the email scanner keep saying it is connecting to nc6-rba-1.cache.isnet.net , is my PC now a zombie sending out spam or something? Scanned with Ad-aware but did not find anything, anybody know whats happening?

Can anyone tell me what are the most popular ASP based open source or just free CMS systems available? Talking about the "classic" ASP not the .net one

Also does it have URL that has the "cms" path, like

programming language popular in MY?

Would like to ask which prog/scripting language in your knowledge is more in-demand here in MY and what is the order (from most popular to least of request). Dont know if this survey matters, but I just wanna get a general overview from ppl with diff background who come here.

yah pls also state which area you mainly focus in, Web, Desktop app, etc.

My exrience on most asked-for language in MY:

Area: Web dev
-1- ASP (VB)
-2- PHP
-3- .Net
-4- Java

This um not a prog language but should really be in No.2 spot :
- "Don't Care" (clients who just want a CMS, Shop cart or whatever but don't care the language you use)
