[WTA] Beyerdynamic DT series

I've read on Head-Fi that the 600Ohm variants of the DT880 and DT990 provides a better overall sound and soundstage performance if compared to the 250Ohm variants.

The flipside, however, is that I may find them relatively hard to drive. So, as I was considering these two models, I'd like if anyone who had owned/experienced these headphones could enlighten me on the amps that you've used to drive them and how they sound when paired up. I'm more of a portable user, so I would hope that a portable amp could drive these headphones.

Oh yeah, has anyone tried to pair them with the Fiio e10?

Hey, I was looking for a new amp in the market at the ~100 USD range. One of my top choices would be the cMoy (2.03) from JDSLabs. At $60, I've heard that it's quite a steal.

I currently own the M50 and Westone 2, and I believe other amps would be a little too strong IMO. The custom optimization provided by JDS would optimise the use of the amp for my low impedance headphones, which is something you don't get with other portable amps in this price range.

So, my question is, is it worth the money? How does this amp compare to others in its price range, like the Fiio E11 in terms of SQ and durability? And are there any other amps to consider? I'm planning to connect the amp to my E10 at home and to my iPad via LOD when out on-the-go.
