Hi guys, my proton x70 2025 mc2 experience a knocking noise when turning the wheel after they replace steering rack of my car.

Their technical team insisting it’s normal and nothing to be concerned. But the noise really bothering me. They lodge report to HQ said it’s minor noise and HQ decision rule it with negligible term and so it’s not under warranty.

I lodge to KPDN and get referred to Tribunal. After lodge to tribunal, proton message me as below

I wonder is it normal? I now need to tear off my tint and waste my time to go through all the hassles. And the fee seemed to not borne by them.

Anyone got any advise on this?

4 years old experience high stress and trauma

Hi guys, I enrolled my four years old son in this kindergarten at the beginning of this year. Prior to this, he attended a taska for approximately one year and was generally happy and emotionally stable. However, since starting at this kindergarten, I have noticed a noticeable change in his behaviour and he appears to be experiencing a high level of stress. Based on my observations, the level of care and attention provided has raised concerns.

Within just one week, I noticed the following situations:

1. Children are left to cry for extended periods without being comforted. Teachers just remain at their seat and on some occasions, children are getting scolded. For example, “You keep crying, from the beginning you only know how to cry”

2. Children who are not yet fully potty-trained are fiercely scolded.

3. Televisions in the classrooms are used to play YouTube content such as Cocomelon during periods when teaching or active supervision would normally be expected. As a result, children are exposed to screen time throughout the school day. After returning home, my child also appeared less interested in cartoons or television programmes he previously enjoyed.

4. I was told at school that milk is only a supplement and not necessary. After this, he returned home saying that milk is “just water” and “not nice.” Since then, he has shown distress and strong resistance towards drinking milk. My child who previously had no issues drinking milk in taska for one year.

5. Parents are required to provide food containers and utensils. However, when these are returned home, I noticed leftover food and milk residue remaining inside from morning until we picked him up is already 5pm. This resulted in strong and unpleasant odours raising concerns regarding hygiene and health.

6. Although parents provide socks as the school requires children to wear shoes at all times, after shower time my child returned home wearing shoes without socks. Now his feet is full of scar and peeled skins.

7. My child developed small rashes or dots across his body which may be related to prolonged sweating without proper cleaning or changing of clothes over an extended period.

8. My child mentioned that a teacher hit him. While there were no obvious visible signs of physical injury, this statement caused significant concern.

9. According to the school schedule, outdoor activities such as cycling and basketball are planned for the final slot of the day. However, during my visits, I consistently observed the children remaining indoors watching YouTube videos instead.

I paid approximately RM3,000 in registration and related fees which are stated as non-refundable in the sign-up form. However, I was not aware of the school’s standards being as described above nor that the services provided would differ from what was initially communicated. Wondering any possibility to get any partial refund from the school?

Proton 4s body and paint repair

I’d really appreciate some advice on what to do next. I sent my car to a Proton 4S centre for an insurance claim after a minor accident where only my bumper was scratched.

However, when I got my car back, the condition was much worse:
• Paint stains all over my seats
• Scratches on my tail light and engine hood cover
• Engine cover full of dirt
• Steering damaged and rattling, like it was smashed
• Dismantled parts were dumped inside the car, scratching the surfaces

Even the new bumper they replaced has cracks, scratches, peeling paint, and dust stuck under the paintwork.

My car is less than a year old proton x70 2025 mc2 facelift version.

Just for a quick update:2/october 5.10pm:: I didn’t receive any call or message from their branch despite I personally call to HQ and I also texted their manager.

Dentistry service in government

Hi guys,recently I went to private dentist for multiple visits as well as multiple X-rays had been taken but my problem is not solved yet as they can't identify which tooth is the culprit from 2D X-ray.

Private dentist advise to go for another CBCT scan (RM600) and told me that I might need to go for root canal (RM1800+)

This is quite financial burden.

So I try to go for KKM as others recommend that it is as good as private and we only pay minimal.

The dentist there just merely check and then ask whether I got bring any X-ray along with me.

After that she said if root canal need to do scaling and tooth filling first.

But I already did those few days prior to the government visit.

She said oh yes, but I think still not that clean. So I can't make any root canal appointment.

And the next visit appointment for scaling is scheduled to March 2026 (next year).

She said root canal can only be arranged after that, that is their SOP. so most root canal most probably 2027/2028.

So she recommend me eat painkiller daily if I can tahan else fork out money to visit private clinic.

I wonder is it normal for government dentistry to work that way? It's my first time there.

Hi guys, I realised that my whatsapp account has been logged out from my phone this morning and I feel rather strange.

The next moment when I log in back, everybody was asking me whetehr I am okay? But from my Whatsapp, I never send anything.

My friends and family told me that I have sent them a virus-link/website to them during midnight.

What's the risk of replace new brake pad and rotor

Hi guys, I had complained my proton x70 2025 that purchased in Oct 2024 several times to service centre about I feel a mild pulsation and vibration in my brake pedal regardless of whether it's in motion. But the pulsation become obvious when braking.

I tried their test unit also have same feeling but theirs are like 3/10 of chances to have such pulsation meanwhile mine is about 7/10.

They said they not able to feel it but they could offer me to replace my brake pad and brake rotor. My current mileage is about 2000km.

But my worry is whether they would spoil or potential to break the car even further when they replace my stock brake pad and rotor? Risk of like bubbles go into brake line or any damage to the brake component during replacement of brake rotor/brake pad until the car won't feel the same anymore.

My previous myvi have the brake job done where workshop replaced rotor and brake pad. Then, the car feel completely different and starts to vibrate even more than before.

Proton x70 2025 Vibration UPDATE#4

I sent my proton x70 2025 that is a month old to SC for checking why there is vibration on the floor base and driver seat.

Told them that must inform me what they intend to do to my car before any repair. The assistant service manager said sure!

But after that, I realised my car was not there. The third party subcontractor had do the alignment and balancing to my car without my consent. And worse is they drive my car out without my consent… I have told them anything I’ll co-inspect or test drive with them.

After that, I realised my brake has the problem right now. My brake pedal is spongy and would vibrate upon braking or even idle right now.

I called back to sc to look for manager. Manager don’t bother to return my call and always not there. The assistant manager that served me had given me his number last time.

So I gave him a call and he said would return my call. Since then, he won’t want to pick up my call anymore

My car is only a month old with barely under 1000km when I sent there. The issue has persisted for weeks now.

Nobody take up the responsibility. I have sent several emails to proton HQ but they said would ask respective service centre to contact me.

The service centre there is a nightmare where most of the foreman there are unskilled. They just tried to ketuk2 the brake disc and loosen the nut and tighten it back. Would this be main cause of why my brake act this way right now?

Just a quick update, my brake pedal eventually sink to the bottom.. so I went to SC, they asked me to test drive with foreman. But their outcome is no brake fluid leak, and I can’t stimulate the brake pedal sinking problem. They need me to show them or the brake pedal sink when foreman test drive. Else, they need me to left the car there and they will drive everyday until it sinks.

In the mean time; they said the problem is intermittent so they can’t do much for me and asked me to continue drive.

Is this normal?

Just a quick update to this case

I called to Proton Care to ask regarding the status of my case. The service centre have send in the service report that the car has no issues that mentioned by customer. We advise customer to left the car but customer reject. Hence, nothing that they can do to help.

I am literally pissed off with this kind of sc when they told me to left my car there for their technician to drive daily until the problem pop out instead of inspection.

Hopeless kind of 3S service centre.

Is it normal for a brand new car to come with 2022 tyres?

I have received my brand new proton x70 2025 a month ago but the ride is very bad and harsh. It’s bouncing even at normal road.

Sent to service centre for 6-7 times but can’t identify the problem. SC keep denied by saying it’s “normal”.

Today I found out that my rear tyres are without manufacture date and only has a printed “2022” there.

Is it normal for new car to fit with such old tyres? Would it be one of the cause that make the car behave bouncing and uncomfortable ride?

Hi guys, I just received my x70 2025 but the car currently vibrate more than my myvi.

I sit in my old myvi is much comfy than this x70 2025, SA told me should get better after first service.

I went back to their showroom to test out the test drive unit and found out their unit don't have harsh vibration on their seat.

Not sure how should I deal with this car

Or I need to leave the car few days for inspection and it's rather sad to leave a new car that I just received for inspection.

After sent to do alignment and balancing, but after the alignment and balancing, my brake pedal become squishy and juddering(vibrating), it's even more worse than before. Anybody know that causes of these?

New Edifier S2000mkiii popping

Hi guys, I just bought a brand new Edifier s2000mkiii but whenever I switch input to optical cable that connected to my PC, it has a very loud pop sound and the speaker sound very weird after that.

Need to reboot the speaker in order to act normal again.

I asked seller and he recommend me to use RCA connection to PC instead of optical fibre cable.

Any advise?

Hi guys, I have my dcmoto gfm925w swing gate installed last year together with a homekit circuit board.

Recently, my autogate circuit board not working and I opened it up to check. To my surprise the inner box was full with water causes some metals pin to corroded as well as homekit circuit board to fried.

I wonder how to solve the problem? Can I use any third party autogate cover box or I must buy the original dc moto box that cost around 150 per unit?
