Guys, I want to build a personal desktop at home.

I can go to the shop and buy and scare kena chop.

I am a light gamer. I want to build a gaming desktop that I can play every once in a while (weekend).

I play COD, FIFA, Sniper Elite and other FPS games (need to have good graphics?).

I want build a reliable desktop that can last a few years (4, 5 years min).

I will also use the desktop for some light office work, accessing email, MS office etc etc.

My budget in under RM4k (is this achievable). I have only one requirement that is the screen must be at least 19 inch and above.

Please recommend some reliable shop and and reference if possible.

Help. Detained in Thailand Immigration.

My friend was detained by thai immigration office. He was sending some item (probably illegal) to a designated person in Thailand.

He called back and said he is now detained in Immigration office. He said Thai immigration office want him to testify against the main man behind this. The main man was arrested.

In this case, what can I do to help him ? It is CNY now and we wish to get him back asap.

"Since 2012, the increase in house prices in Malaysia has outstripped the rise in income levels. Consequently, prevailing median house prices are beyond the reach of most Malaysians. This is primarily attributable to a gross mismatch between housing supply and demand amid diverging expectations between households and developers. The issue has been compounded by the fact that the distribution of new housing supply has been concentrated in the higher-priced categories."

"Given the variation in methodology, as expected, each affordability measurement yields different results. Yet, they all point to broadly consistent conclusions. Firstly, housing affordability has deteriorated. This is the second consecutive year that BNM has highlighted that there is a severe mismatch between house prices and income level. Though most of the developer has slowed their pace of launching high end residential project, still, who is going to pick up those launches that priced above 500k?

More and more affordable houses price between 200k - 400k launches in the market and yet most of them still priced out of the "affordable house prices" as defined in the report.

Coupled with rising cost of living and weakening MYR, where are we heading?

Subsales Condo Cheaper than New Launch. Normal?

Guys,

I have been looking to buy a condo in KV around Subang, PJ, Puchong, Old Klang Road for own stay. Since then, I have noticed that some of the subsales Condo (< 3-4yrs) is selling cheaper than those condo that still need at least 2-3 years to complete.

Is it time for me to buy yet? Or its better for me to wait for awhile more?

I am looking for a condo at 500k budget.

My condo must fitted the below requirement.

~3 rooms
~2 car parks
~950sqf ++
~no more than 25km from kl center
~good environment to raise kid.

I would not mind subsales unit because I can get 100% financing from my employer .

Currently I am looking at Atmosfera condo and 1120 park Avenue.

Is there any other good condo/houses that I can consider also ?

Calculating Dividend

Im a newbie for LYN and investing.

First of all, I am confused with the calculation with all the dividend. For example, when a company declared a dividend of 8 sen and its par value is RM1. Is that means that it has declared a 8% dividend for the year? Moreover, what do it means by less tax of 25%? At the end, what is the real percentage of its dividend?

And, when I am calculating the dividends of a company for the year. I simply add all the interim dividend, special dividend and final dividend and sum them up for the % of dividend for the year?

For example,
Interim Dividend = 25%
Special Dividend = 10%
Final Dividend = 25%
Is this means that the dividend of the company for the year is 60%?

I hope i will be helped. Im in serious confusion.
