Export Malaysian durian to hong kong

Dear All,

I am considering the possibility of importing good quality durians e.g Mountain Cat / Kunyit Durian to Hong Kong.

As per commercial airline regulations,Durian is not allowed on board the plane.Apparently a billionaire flew his private jet over to Malaysia or SG just to get some durians.Of course than again he has too much cash to burn.But im
Pretty sure there is a niche market for durians in HKG and the one that is available currently at Major Supermarkets is seriously over priced.

Shipping durian is certainly impossible as the time required to ship such perishables over is not feasible.

Currently,the main supply of durians available comes from Thailand and well we all know how inferior are those compared to ours.

I wonder if the import of Fresh Malaysian Durians can be profitable in Hong Kong as i have seen it sold at a main shopping store in causewaybay for RM300/kg.

Any advice is appreciated.If this works or doesnt work out eventually,at least maybe we can all shares some knowledge on this

I would like to seek advice from any of U with regards to properties which is affected by afternoon sun i.e. West facing condominiums.

What are the ways that I can mitigate this?I was told to install blinds and curtains but this will only make the whole house look dark

I was also adviced of installing shutters at the balcony area.This is the best solution so far but problem is the high cost.

How can we continue to have the outside breeze and light without having to cover the whole area up?
