salary benchmark

i was wondering, in Malaysia, is there any survey company that really does benchmarking among the multinational companies for the remuneration that they make to candidates ? with such info on benchmarking, then probably we can know that maybe not all giant companies pays well, then not all small companies pays little....

you guys know anything bout this ?

hi all,

does anyone here knows about baker hughes remuneration ? are they stingy ? I got a friend going for interview, not sure of this company, therefore trying to ask more about this company in terms of :

1) competitive salary ?
2) good benefit ?
3) opportunities for relocation assignment ?

what's the dfference between the property in bukit beruntung & rawang ? Bukit beruntung as everyone knows lah, the famous story....but is rawang also the same as bukit beruntung ?

hope you can provide your view....the property in bukit beruntung still as dead as ever is it ? and the property in rawang is always falling down is it the price ?

hey wanna ask you something...one of my girlfriends is in dilemma.

if you were her, what would you pick ?

citibank - rm2.6K plus comission maybe can get up to rm4.6K

CIMB - rm3.5K plus comission maybe can get up to rm4.6K

(these 2 banks almost the same for whole package just that the basic is different)

BAT - 2.8K plus allowance rm350...

which one would you choose ? she is currently working in Pearson lah...so she now so in dilemma...

as you guys know, these days, business support centres has been mushrooming in KL these days. So if anyone of you are working inside(or if they decided to pindah to a more cheaper country like philipines or india), kindly do provide some insights about how well these business support centres are willing to pay. they include :

- exxon business support centres

- BHP business support centres
- BAT's GSD and ASPAC ( in this case BAT dont merge them as 1 ? )

hey guys,

just want to let you guys know, especially those who live in bandar kinrara puchong area, about this shop. The name is Poh Yuen(or something that starts with Poh), and it is located right after when you cross IOI Mall and turn left to follow the road to sri petaling. you can see the shop after you cross a row of furniture shop, and then petronas station, and then you will see a row of shops again. There you will see the shop just right in front of the road going in.

I bought a door knob of st guchi brand and i bought it at rm150, and was shocked after i know that it can actually be bought at rm90. This shop needs to be avoided at all costs, if anyone dont know. Very expensive...and to make me feel more sad, people(the locals) already knew this shop actually is selling things more expensive than other people....in fact very very expensive, sigh. The receipt name is put as TYM Door Specilaist.

Really regret going to such shop, will never ever step into this shop again. will tell all my friends so that they know...damn, what a monday blues for me.

would like to ask you guys would you rather buy a subsales property or a newly launch developer unit ? why and what are the pros and cons ?

seems like buying a subsales means must pay the agent profit also not to mention the subsales unit might not be clean...

if newly develop, the price seems getting unbelievable, does the developers think malaysians can dig gold and buy their houses ?
