Guys, did usa really bully us?

Try put yourself in usa shoes, no need to be angry.

He basically want to tax his people only. He cannot increase sales tax or introduce gst/vat. He choose tariff as replacement.

I saw many dont know what is tariff

Trying to do simple explaination

Tarif is a tax charge by government on import good.

Say my country produce rice 10 cent,
then when trader importing rice from thailand 9 cent,
People will buy thailand rice 9 cent coz cheaper , maybe quality better

my country charging tariff on rice import from thailand 25%
So now rice import from thailand is 9 cent + tariff 2.75 cent
Rice from thailand now cost 11.75 cent vs local rice 10 cent

the tariff is use to protect local rice plantation, so the import rice is more expensive than local produce.

So stop arguing and asking our government to retaliate like canada and china did to usa. Bodoh ke apa mau kerajaan charge you tax? Happy ke kena tax tambahan? You kaya sangat nak kerajaan bagi tax tambahan?

And stop panicking and want to buy /horde items coz tariff in usa is for their import goods, we are not effected, the us tariff (tax) wont impact us.

Speculation on evergrande

Evergrande - they diversify their investment from property moving to electric vehicle, internet media, soccer, f&b, theme park, financial planning.

Of all, internet, and finance is consider essential services.

Owner is hui, 3rd richest in China, ccp members, close with xi.

In 2019-2020 ccp selling land to developer, including to evergrande, evergrande wealth was built via land ccp introduce to be develop. No reason for evergrande to be doubting ccp.

August 2020, ccp introduce 3 red line rules, just after offloading its land to developer. They intro this rule. Ccp said, the money they got from the land sales has been circulating back to the market and companies making profits, companies should save their own neck.

2 company got 3 red line, evergrande isn't alone. Foshan Bank officially closing the taps for all evergrande projects on sept 13. Just 13 days after the new rules, and they (ccp) are still selling land to evergrande in months before August.

Question, what happen to the other company also got all red for 3 red line rule? Why only evergrande taking the hit?

Hui beg xi, by 2023, they will be able to repay everything, and be good boy. Don't close the water tap so soon. But water tap had been close for good, they make news, huhhaaa it.
