Corsair Cooler problem or Motherboard problem?

This happened last night.

When i switch on my PC. It showed an error msg in POST saying that CPU temp is too high.

"CPU fan speed error detected. Ensure CPU fan is properly installed on the CPU_FAN header." But the fan was blasting and running in full load.

Heres what i did:

1. Unplug my H100i V2 fan header and plug it into the other CHA_FAN 1 header. The fan still works, but in bios main menu, CHA_Fan 1 is shown not working and no rpm is shown.

2. Plug my case fan into CPU_Fan header. Case fan works fine. Bios display CPU fan is working and rpm is showing.

In this case, is the cooler fan header faulty? or is the mobo?

Please advice. Thanks.

My SSD Samsung 850 EVO 250GB boot up time for windows 10 is slow.

It takes about 25 - 30 seconds to load into windows, which is unusual.

AHCI mode enabled.
Trim enabled.

Mobo: Asus z170 pro gaming
Proc: i7-6700k
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 250GB

Any advice?

Power supply surges detected! CPU or PSU problem?

Sifus,

Bought Corsair RM750X PSU 3 weeks back. First two weeks of overclocking, testing and intense gaming session was ok. Problem arised this week, as it switch off itself and turn it back on with this message "Power supply surges detected during the previous power on. ASUS Anti-Surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply unit!" It happened like more than 5 times a day.

Is it my PSU faulty or my OCed chip that causes the power surge.

Here are my specs:

Intel i7-6700k
Asus Z170 pro gaming
Corsair RM750X
Asus Strix 1080 OC
Corsair LPX 16GB 3000mhz

My chip is oc'ed to 4.7Ghz. Stock core voltage is 1.344v and CPU core voltage override is 1.345v. CPUID shows my VCore is 1.360v.

Pleas help.
