Question about Lian Li Fans

Hey guys, I am planning to get two Lian Li AL120 fans for my rig. The single pack doesn't come with the controller, while the pack that comes with a controller is in a pack of 3 fans. So my question is, am I able to just connect two of the Lian Li fans into the Corsair Commander Pro with a 3 pin adapter, or directly into the motherboard, without the Lian Li UNI HUB Controller?

Dell U2312HM Monitor No power

Hi guys, yesterday I was cleaning up my computer desk and I took out all the cables and stuff. And when I plug the power cable back in to the monitor, it doesn't power on. The power light did not even light up. So I've tried troubleshooting it, by changing it to another power source, and swapping my pc's power cable to the monitor. Still doesn't light up. So I had to disassemble it and take a look into it. What I see and assume was the power module board as there seems to be some powdered-like black stain around the transformer. And it could be the reason why the monitor's power led (orange) did not even light up. Made a call to Dell, and apparently it is not their problem anymore as it no longer in warranty and they will not fix it even though i'm willing to pay for the repair. So to the sifus around, is there any place that could repair my monitor? Around PJ/ Damansara area would be most convenient. Thank you

Intel HD graphic instead of Nvidia for Desktop PC

Hi guys, as mentioned in the Topic Title, is it possible for me to swap around either to use the integrated Intel HD 4000 or Nvidia Graphic Card like how a laptop does? There are time when I wanna conserve electric and prefer lesser heat production as well as prolong the Graphic Card's life. So it would help a lot if I were to use the Integrated GPU for light usage and swap back to Nvidia GPU for heavy usage. The motherboard is Asus Maximus V Formula, in hope that there is some BIOS settings that you guys know about. Thanks <3

Forearm hurts

Hey guys! I been lifting since 3 years ago and lately, i been getting a sharp pain in both my forearm since 2 months ago and still have been continuing my usual workouts,while withholding the pain. It doesn't hurt when I'm putting tensions on the muscle while training but it hurts when i release the contractions. Even if its on my rest day, I could feel that pain whenever I press on that area(between the bone and muscle) I have done several research online and it shows that im having forearm splints. Most of the pain are from various strength exercises such as bench press, rope pull down and bicep curls, and it hurts a lot more if I release the weight slowly. So my question here is , how long should I avoid the gym to give it some time to recover and I heard that it's quite common among builders in certain period of time . Is is true? Im 18 yrs old and i would prefer to avoid much ''off days'' if possible. Hope to receive guidance from y'all in this especially from those who have such experience before

Hey guys, i been looking into a lot of protein brands as my post workout supplement and it is indeed confusing with the number of choices there is in the market. So far i have tried GNC Amplified Recovery Protein XR and Myofusion Probiotic.Then, i happen to came across Optimum Gold Standard 100%Whey which is more expensive than Myofusion but seem to have better reviews by my friends and online. GNC products are great but it is very expensive although having a VIP membership there. So should I continue going for Myofusion or Optimun Gold which has greater absorption rate? Or is there any other brand that worth the value that u would recommend? Im 18 this year and i weight about 70KG and 178CM tall. I often go to the gym for 2-3days a week after college and only consumes about 2-3 scoops (72g) of protein right after workout. Thanks in advance for ur guide and recommendation!

Almera 1.5 VL Impul HID

Hi guys,I am planning to modify the headlights of my Nissan Almera by changing the current Halogen lamp to HID. However, I believe that theres a code such as H3 H4 or even H6 stated. Does anyone know which is the right one for Almera? Im planning for Philips 8000k HID bulb but I do not know how much does it cost. And plus, do I need to replace or add in any other thing in order to provide a greater amount of voltage for the HID light?

Hi guys,it is my first time that I bought protein powder so please tell me if i bought the correct one and if there's any other recommendation. I do all the training myself at home and im 17 yrs old. Been doing lifts for almost 3 years now and I feel that its about time I invest on protein products. My sister who is a pharmacist recommended me Bio Protein Plus which is 100% Organic and contains 9g of protein per serving http://www.cosway.com.my/product/health/nn...tein%20plus.htm Sis told me that others trick ppl by saying they have 10 amino acid which is the building block for muscles but more than 3 amino acid confuses the body,which could be right and even mentioned by her professor. She bought it for me for 56 ringgit(300g net weight) and its not cheap either and ask me to consume it before workout. Soya Bean effect male hormones?

There is always one sentence that my mom always mention which is "stop drinking soya bean too much else u'll be a sisi" and my dad will say "your genitals might detach one day",stating that it will effect male hormones.yet I found it simply just a source of protein. Is it true? Or is it simply just a myth?

Nissan Almera VL Impul

Hi guys! I was wondering is there any possible slight modification I could possibly do for my Almera Impul VL.Such as having a xenon light or LEDs for it. I have to follow a rule created by my parents since they r the one who got me the car after I got my P license recently which is NO MODIFICATION AND NO SPEEDING.Though,Im still tempted to upgrade just a tiny bit. What came to my mind is xenon lighting,L.E.D lighting and the sport rims.The rest can be maintained the way it is since it is already tinted(darkest of government legal standard so i wont get tickets) and it is an Impul edition. Is there any recommendation of such lighting? Through,I hope I wont get grounded

DVI port faulty

As what is mentioned in the title,one of the DVI port of my GTX690 is now faulty.Everytime when i connect my monitor to port 3(the faulty port),my monitor goes to sleep mode.But the rest of the 2 port is fine.It all happens after I tried connecting my newly bought samsung UA32D5000R tv to my pc due to curiosity and I can actually see a small spark there when i connect it.However,everything is fine with my ps3 connected to the TV and is still running healthily in my room playing dmc days after days. Is there any solution where I can fix it myself besides rma-ing it and how the ba**s it happen?

Edit:The problem seem to be gone for now but im still wondering,is the tv safe?! Wad if I get a HTPC for it ,will it roast the GC ?

Please help me clear off some of the thoughts in my mind.I am wondering,is mini displayport equilavent to HDMI port?I am using GTX690 graphic card for my PC and DELL U2312HM monitor which has 1920x1080 resolution,but however theres a tiny little problem,both doesnt come with HDMI port but comes with DVI-D and minidisplay port instead.Minidisplay port to display port is provided with the GC instead of minidisplay to HDMI.So im wondering,will the graphics looks better if i use a mini display port to HDMI converter?With HDMI cable of cause
