Dell Precision T5810 Component

Hi Sifus,

I currently have the following components salvaged from a Dell Precision T5810:

1. MOBO from T5810 with PSU
2. GPU w4100 2gb x2
3. 4GB Ram x2
4. SSD drive 128gb

I will like to rebuild the system, but understand that Dell's MOBOs are proprietary and doesn't fit into other ATX casing. Any solution for this or anyone can help to build up a desktop with these components ?

Hi all, I have a Karcher WD3, have been using it for 4 years now... recently the motor starts to malfunction and i can smell some burnt smell coming from it... Called karcher service centre .. they said the new motor cost RM388 excluding labour cost... Trade in cost RM465 (he recommended trade in) .. Any suggestion how I can repair this motor myself ?

Hi all.. I have a lga2011-v3 Mobo from dell precision t5810 that is mated to a E5-1620 v3 cpu.
I will like ask if I can change to other CPU like the e5-2620 v3 which support the same socket ? Will the bios of my Mobo be able to detect the CPU ?

Fitting components from Dell T5810 to Dell T5500

Hi all,

I have some leftover computer component from Dell Precision T5810, namely Motherboard, RAM, PSU, GPU. On the other hand, I still have an old Dell Precision T5500. Can I install the components from T5810 and install it into the casing of T5500 ? (I will most probably reuse components from T5500 such as DVD ROM, HDD, Cooling Fan, various Cables). I have not build a PC rig from scratch before, hence will like to take the opinion from all the experts here.

Hi guys,

Was thinking of buying some aluminium composite panel and paste it onto my kitchen wall and use it as my Kitchen Backsplash. When i compare the Aluminium composite panel looks similar to Ikea Lysekil Wall Panel: https://www.ikea.com/my/en/catalog/products/60335123/
Do you all think it is possible to use it as kitchen backsplash ? Any idea how to attache the Aluminium composite panel to my wall ? Any particular glue ?

Hi guys.. im considering to buy the HP spectre x360. Quite a nice loking convertible at an acceptable price. Only thing is that have been hearing some negative comment about hp quality control and bad customer service..
Some say the hinge on spectre x360 spoil easily and uneven. Can anyone share their experince ? Or should i just get a XPS13?

Hi guys,

Can you recommend a good router with decent wifi coverage and good stability ? I am currently using Unifi Archer C5. Wifi coverage is within my acceptable range. The only thing is after upgrading to 50 Mbps, speed has been pretty unstable. I have read quite some good reviews of ASUS RT-AC68U. Just that i find that it comes with a lot of extra features eg QoS, VPN etc which i most probably wont be needing it. So not sure whether its worth paying so much extras for features that i dont require. Any recommendation from sifus out there ?
