Introduction
A solid-state drive (SSD) (sometimes improperly referred to as a "solid-state disk" or "electronic disk") is a data storage device that uses integrated circuit assemblies as memory to store data persistently. SSD technology uses electronic interfaces compatible with traditional block input/output (I/O) hard disk drives. SSDs do not employ any moving mechanical components, which distinguishes them from traditional magnetic disks such as hard disk drives (HDDs) or floppy disks, which are electromechanical devices containing spinning disks and movable read/write heads. Compared with electromechanical disks, SSDs are typically less susceptible to physical shock, are silent, and have lower access time and latency, but are, at 2011 market prices, more expensive per unit of storage. The prices have continued to decline in 2012.

SSDs share the I/O interface technology developed for hard disk drives, thus permitting simple replacement for most applications.
As of 2010, most SSDs use NAND-based flash memory, which retains data without power. For applications requiring fast access, but not necessarily data persistence after power loss, SSDs may be constructed from random-access memory (RAM). Such devices may employ separate power sources, such as batteries, to maintain data after power loss.

Hybrid drives combine the features of SSDs and HDDs in the same unit, containing a large hard disk drive and an SSD cache to improve performance of frequently accessed data. These devices may offer near-SSD performance for many applications.

[center]After a long wait, finally receive my first custom mechanical keyboard for assembly.
Inspiration from mechanical keyboard sifu and other forums.
Special thanks to Dato that helped me to get this as well as all sifu that gave me guide for this worklog.
I took about 4 days to finish assemble this keyboard and make it functional.
I try to make it short and simple, skipped debug, pcb testing, keymapping etc.

Old Cherry board, with mx clear switches.
It tooks me half day to finish desolder them from 2 pcb, about 200 mx clear switches.
However, not all are functional. Some housings or stems are broken.

Open all switch covers and start to sort out rejected housings.
Only about 140 are really use-able. the rest throw into dustbin.

Hopefully I am posting this worklog at a right section, sorry if I am not .
In a short brief, this worklog is about a modification of mechanical keyboard. I was inspired by the sifu here and other forums with beautiful LEDs effect and other sort of modding that I couldn't imagine before.
This worklog was short and quickly done within one day since I only replace the plate and add LEDs to the keyboard. Pictures taken aren't clear somehow due to my noob camera skill, hope you guys can bear with me .

List of tools that I have used:
Soldering Station, Solder, Solder Sucker (or desoldering pump), Tweezers, Wire Keycap Puller, Fingernails Cutter (as an alternative to plier/wire cutter)

So let's get started and hope you guys enjoy it .

1. I remove all the keycaps except the spacebar, as the keycaps puller not able to do so. There are a few methods of removing a spacebar, but i choose the common way (maybe) by use two hands. Hold the both end of the spacebar and slowly & gently remove it by lifting it upward.

2. There I have, succeed . The next thing to do is removing the screws to dismantle the pcb and plate from the casing.

3. Before proceed, I take a close look on the switches. All the mx switches of Poker2 are reverse-mounted, except for the spacebar.

4. The screws used are cross head, and have 2pcs of thin metal gasket (not sure I'm right about this) to prevent over stressing on the pcb when u try to screw it back. Here's a close look of it:

7. Side view of the pcb with plate mounted. This plate doesn't allow the mx switch covers to be opened unless u desolder and remove all the mx switches from the pcb. MX switches are sitting on top of the plate and the cutout size of the plate just enough to fit the mx switches and secure them from moving.

# Product Information #

These keycaps are PBT (regular, not thick) and OEM profile. The spacebar has 5 stems and is compatible with Filco, Ducky, Das, Poker, Leopold FC200R, etc.

We're providing three options for different uses:
1) 61-Keyset (for 60% keyboards such as Poker)
2) 87-Keyset (for 80% keyboards such as Filco Tenkeyless)
3) Numpad Set (17 keys included)

4 additional keycaps will be included in each 61-keyset and 87-keyset.

*Only ANSI layout is available.

Two types of fonts are available:

Font #1 Swiss Special

Font #2 Arial Rounded (Similar to Cherry replica font)

Available colors of fonts: any colors. Yes that's right, any colors. The base color is white and we don't have other base color available yet.

You can choose any color you want from http://www.ralcolor.com/ and we'll try our best to make the actually colors accurate.

Deadline for Payment: 14 Nov 2013 before 7PM
The deadline doesn't mean when the production starts, it only means the day I'm going to stop taking orders. So means 13 Nov is the last date to order, to be safe I wanna submit the order to feng earlier to get us into the 2nd batch.
After sending orders to feng, it will roughly take them a week to produce the product and be ready to ship. Yeah, ONE week. They have a few people to work on it.

For the record, 1 set means a 104-keyset which weighs about 6-7oz.
DHL Express (Asian countries) - $20 for 1-2 sets, $23 for 3-4 sets. (This takes 3-4 days for delivery, directly shipped from China)

# How To Order #
Please choose the color(s) you want from http://www.ralcolor.com/ and then paste the RAL# and RAL-RGB# into the order form.

e.g. if you want Lemon yellow, you should type in RAL 1012, 199-180-070 as your color choice.

Here's the order format: Keyset, Font#, RAL#, RAL-RGB#.
Examples:
61-keyset, font#1, RAL 1006, 228-160-016
87-keyset, font#2, RAL 3024, 248-000-000

**Please take note:
1. The DHL Express shipping fee will be shared among buyers, and to be revealed before/when I proceed the payment.
2. I will bear the shipping cost for DHL first to save the hassle, and the shared shipping fee will add on each buyer when I proceed to the local shipping by using Poslaju. So means buyers only need to pay for the keyset to confirm order.
3. ETA is 2~4 weeks.
