I got conned by this guy in eBay after I won a blackberry curve for RM 510.

Please dont deal with this guy. I have done my search on the net for any fraud related with the name before I paid him via deposit machine (as I dont have hong leong account). I learned my lesson that I should not deal with newcomers.

C# How to extract data from object graphic

Hi everyone,

Am still new with C#, please bear with me as I definitely a noob in this language. I need help regarding on WPF viewport3d and how to extract data/properties/children(seriously i dont know much) from the data I draw using clasess (mesh, geometrymodel3d, geometry3dgroup, modelvisual3d) which contain in cubicBuilder class.

double Lx = 4; //length of cubic.
double Ly = 3; //depth of cubic.

as you can see from the pic, I have already drawn the solid. My qquestion would be, how I can get the double value (Lx, Ly, & Lz) of _cubic, from mainViewport after any execution(button click)?

GUI for C++

Hi everyone,

I need guidance on starting to learn to program a GUI in C++ language. Basically, which forum or books that could provide me for such knowledge specifically on GUI in C++.

Am quite used to program GUI in MATLAB language but I realised in MATLAB GUI is less eye candy compared with others language. So, I planned to migrate to C++ anyhow.

Hi everyone!

Am a fresh graduate in civil engineering. Currently I have a dilemma, either to pursuit my studies in master in structure material (at one one of our local uni) which i already got the offer or continue my job hunt. I have my personal goal to be a specialist in structural engineering or offshore structure especially (pipe laying, fabrication, welding, transportation, etc). I also wish to further my studies in master in attempt to help my personal goal come true.

I already went for several interview with company related with oil & gas. One interview, i totally blow off. Another two sounds promising because the interviewer (General Manager) said he interested in me and he will give me high priority to fill up a new incoming ship crew. Its quite a while and i didnt get any respond from both company (bout 2-3 weeks). I also send a lots application to any company related to oil & gas right now (semi med, medium, even big company).

My master studies is about research of complex fiber composite (my research proposal already accepted by the uni) and it will starts this 1st July. If i continue my studies, i got free access to gain knowledge on any related field especially structural eventhough i continue my studies in master in research. I also will gain maturity in these 2 years of study as well. I already selected the best supervisor that will guide me in this attempt.

I have to make decision fast as 1st July coming fast. I dont want to waste my time waiting a job that i might not get it yet.

The question is for you guys out there, especially structure engineers. Which option should i choose :

1 : Should i continue my studies in master of structural material and later find jobs related with structural engineering.

OR

2 : Ignore the 1st master offer and keep up my job hunt/wait for any respond.

Always considered the variables changes...
