What's your UPU offer?

Hi guys,

I got offered a course in Bio with honours in USM and Environmental Science and Technology in UPM, so I'm currently wondering which one should I choose.

I'm from Penang though, so while I would love the comforts of home sometimes I feel like I want to leave.

Can anyone tell us more about campus life in UPM? Also, I think the course offered in UPM doesn't come with honours.

Taylor's Biotech

Hi guys, I received an e-mail from Taylor's Uni yesterday stating that I've been offered a place in Biotech under Taylor's University Leadership and Innovation Program (TULIP) which offers a 75% tuition waiver. I'm not sure how the School of Biosciences in Taylor's is like and I haven't heard of anyone studying that there, so it would be great if you guys could give me some feedback. I finished STPM last year so I'm still waiting for acceptance into public U and the deadline to reply is on the 20th. :/

Biomed/Physio/BUSINESS?!

Just got my SPM results a week ago, and I'm having a headache applying for scholarships now because I really don't know what I want to do. I know this is the wrong assumption to make, but my parents said since I was from the Science stream I should stick with it. I prefer Bio over Chemistry and Physics, but I'm not interested to be a doctor at all. :/

I was considering Biomedical Science/Physiotherapy but Biomed is either labwork/sales in pharmaceutical lines whereas physiotherapists' pay isn't really that high and I'm not the type who has this crazy burning passion to help people although I don't mind helping people la.

Is Biomedical Science tough? Is the pay for Biomed/Physio higher? Are there any other courses I can consider? Or should I study Business instead? ><"

Alright, I know there's about a bajillion posts like this in this forum, but I'm desperately in need of some seniors' guidance. Pretty please? :/

Here's the thing, my family doesn't really have the money for me to study overseas so I'm definitely studying in Malaysia unless I get a scholarship. But the thing is, I don't know what I want to do. I was from the Science stream and I scored straight As for my SPM.

I thought of doing Mass Comm in Taylor's, hoping to get the World Class Scholarship, but my parents said it's a waste for me to study Mass Comm with such results. They would prefer if I study a professional course.
I like Bio, can't do Maths or Physics. I'm not interested in Medicine/Engineering/IT/anything artsy fartsy like design or anything.

I'm kind of an extrovert btw. Thought of studying Psychology, or Biomedical Science/Biotechnology. But Biomed/Biotech isn't so well developed in Malaysia yet so my chances of getting a job is slimmer, plus the pay isn't that good. PLEAAAAAAASE suggest a few courses for me? :/
