you guys have quite a lot of things going on to make it work, the natural beauty, access to rich people country (HK/TWN/SK) and speedy pplz country (China), waterfront infra. Like tons of things to capitalize on luxury tourism

even the local economics/culture would suggest that luxury tourism makes more sense, no talibans, high prices due to cabotage and what not

but yet its always cheap tourism here, like why target el-cheapo tourists?

in the beef section where they keep their wagyu, theres sometimes the left over scraps, they call "soup meat" RM6-8 a pack, at times on discount RM3 iirc.

it looks little, and not impressive, but those things are beef bombs (and are actually super expensive outside), i threw 2 into a pot one day and brew for hours and it tasted of pure beef, too overpowering. so ive been dying to buy another strip to throw in

but ya, want your soup to taste of wagyu fat? one of the places i found to source for cheap.
