I may not have the statistics, but myself is one of such victim before & along with my relative & another old-school mate of mine. This is not something surprising, considering the rising feminism & such social problems are well known to grow in a developed country.
It is illegal (apart from the exclusions mentioned above), therefore full stop. We are not 'some other countries' here, this is Malaysia. Same like piracy, I can say most of the members here at least been a user once before but does it make it legal & allowed to be discussed here?

I myself started a debate on Euthanasia which mind you is also illegal in Malaysia and many countries. If we're talking about free sex that leads to abortion, that's the wrong reason. Speaking of legality issue, even those unfortunate that bore a baby because of being raped is considered wrong to abort in the eyes of law. But is that desired outcome? IMO, no. Yes I do agree that abortion does carry certain risk towards the mother carrying the baby, that's why a certified doctor and psychiatrist is needed to certify an abortion. That's the law. But to this topic, I don't think abortion is the wrong decision.

Even for my wife's last pregnancy, the doctor did suggested "termination" (the term used in the medical world for abortion) because the fetus is abnormal due to genetic abnormally and chance of the baby surviving past a few weeks is little. But due to my wife's belief and my respect to her, we did not. True enough the baby died a still birth close to the due date. Although emotionally we are prepared for it because we have knew of the condition well before hand, but to see my wife endure it is a pain. I would rather go for abortion if you ask my opinion.

However all of those so called 'illegal' topics started in those links shown by boon, some did mentioned by the thread starter acknowledging it is illegal, some merely posting a news from a reknown source (eg. bbc) & it is not the same way like the thread I am complaining about above.

Also boon is giving warning above asking me not to reply off-topic further (whereby I already mentioned before his reply, that it will be my last reply) to the thread but he himself is replying in an off-topic manner. It is kind of abusing his mod power where he can have the last reply but not the member against him in the thread.

Lastly, I do admit I am a little sensitive with the mentioned thread because myself had gone through thrice abortion from my ex-girlfriend without mutual agreement from me.
